The Dead Dad Trailer (DDT) came into my life after my father’s passing in March of 2018. So named for the person who introduced me to the peace, power, & beauty of the outdoors. A vintage 1958 Oasis 15, this sweet guy has quirks & perks galore!Sleep: BYO Bedding; It has a sofa that turns into a full size bed (a *cozy* 2 sleeper or a roomy single) & a dinette that converts to a twin. Recommend using a z-lite pad or other sleeping pad on top of beds for extra comfort until we save up enough to replace the upholstery.Kitchen: propane operated 3 burner gas range & biscuit oven (meaning you can’t roast a chicken, but you sure can bake some cookies!), mini fridge, & sink with water hookup available. NO Grey Water Tank OR Fresh Water Storage.Storage: small empty closet with 6 hangers, 3 small empty “dresser” drawers, 2 empty cabinets above dinette, & one empty “pantry” cabinet above the stove.Power: propane & battery (Battery Currently NOT Available, please bring lanterns/headlamps, etc. if not using at a site with electrical hookups)—though best used with an electrical hookup. NO Heat, but a heavy duty appliance extension cord is included to *safely* hook up your space heater.NO Bathroom OF ANY KindWhat's included-Cookware: 2 small pots, 2 small pans, 1 medium pan-Utensils:1 large & small cutting boards, knives, can opener, measuring cups & spoons-Dishware: 4 plates, 4 mug-bowls, 4 cups, 4 tea cups, 4 spoons, 4 forks, 4 butter knives-Tools: matches, lighter, ductape, clothespins, axe, hatchet, extension cords, hoses-Cleaning supplies: trash bin & bags, recycling bin, compost bin & bags, dish soap, sponge, 2 dish drying racks-Food: salt & pepper, olive oil RecommendationsPerfect to take out to the coast (soooo fun to take to the Sou’wester!) or up to the mountains as a lil cozy cabin on wheels, best at campgrounds with water and electric hookups. Not recommended for cross country or multi state trips. Other things to notePlease take pics of your pets enjoying the trailer!
Local festivals ok
No Tobacco
Weed smoke ok, but please ventilate with open windows & ceiling vent!

Meet your host, Never

Nev is a queer, trans, Filipinx outdoor enthusiast! The Dead Dad Trailer came into their life after their fathers passing in March of 2018. Their dream is to see this lil vintage guy out in the world, helping others to access the outdoors, especially if tent/hammock camping is a barrier to camping, like it is now for their elderly mom. They love spending time at the coast & taking their retired-school-teacher mama to all the National Parks!
Every rental fee goes towards the love, care, maintenance, & upgrading that a 66 year old trailer needs. Help keep this vintage bb on the road!

The host for The Dead Dad Trailer was fantastic! Informative and also waited a bit on us on our arrival time. We enjoyed our time with this little gem and hope to do it again sometime soon!💙
