A costly mistake

Joshua’s answer

Judy, I apologize that you did not see in the listing when you were selecting my RV that it clearly lists the prohibited roads. They are also listed in the Rental Agreement that we all signed during that 90 min orientation you mentioned. You had asked about gravel roads, and my answer was that short gravel roads to get to campgrounds and certain scenic areas were expected and acceptable. You didn't ask for any further clarification. You guys took the RV on the Denali Hwy, over 120 miles of unpaved and extremely rough Highway, not road. There were several other small issues that your trip caused, and I did not charge you for. I felt that I was being very reasonable for you guys clearly violating the prohibited roads. I even believe there to be signs that you attempted to disable the GPS(wanting to remove the trailer brake controller because you didn't know what it was, also the bottom of the dash popped off after a 1 mile drive on paved roads). You bent the tailpipe to the generator and scraped the end of it (I have pictures to prove this), which I did not charge you for. There was also the water filled compartments from a loose hose when you guys hooked up city water (I tested and verified same day as return). The list could go on, but I'm not going to be petty. Again, I'm sorry that you did not see about the prohibited highways, but considering what I have found since I released the remainder of your guys' security deposit, I was definitely being extremely fair for your negligence.

This is such a wonderful RV!!! We took it up to Tolsona Wilderness Campground to do a quick camping trip and float the river for our nephew's Birthday. My son, daughter in law, grandson, my wife and I (plus our pups) stayed in the RV and it was very comfortable and roomy. This RV has so many wonderful complementary items we enjoyed the coffee, hot chocolate and smores kit! My wife made our nephews Birthday cake in the Dutch oven that is RV and it turned out great! We absolutely loved they layout of the RV and how clean and well stocked it was! We will for sure be renting this RV again for our next Adventure!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I am pretty flexible when it comes to the summertime pickup and drop off, just depends on if the RV is scheduled to be rented right away. Just ask and we will see what accommodations can be made for you. We would love to have you as a guest and the pickup or drop off time shouldn't be the reason we cannot.
