This trip was the dream of a lifetime!! Henry was the perfect camper companion for our trip! Everything was thoughtfully designed and equipped, our trip was so comfortable. Having a woodstove for those chilly nights in the mountains made our evenings and mornings really cozy. I would definitely rent this vehicle again!!

Kevin is an incredibly available and knowledgable camper van purveyor . He basically built my son’s and my itinerary across Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula where we took Henry the Beast on our adventure for sea kayaking, rafting and fishing. Henry can easily handle 3 if it’s like our party—parent and two kids— but probably is best suited for two, where his size would feel downright spacious. Lots of gear included and can’t reiterate enough how helpful Kevin is.

I rented Henry for my 51st birthday to take a trip with my 20 and 17 year old boys to explore the Kenai Peninsula and fish Sockeye on the Kenai River. Henry was a dream and he took great care of us through our adventures! He is perfectly set up for comfort, cooking, and having a great time while exploring AK.
Definitely would love to do it again.
Thanks again Kevin for sharing your beloved Henry!

TAKE THE TRIP… Henry was so comfortable and drives great. The only thing is wish we had more days! Kevin and Jodie Rae were so accommodating and knowledgeable of the area with any questions we had leading up to the trip and throughout. The bed was so comfortable and the amount of useful storage was amazing since I over packed like crazy lol we traveled with our 5 year old who also had the time of his life. Hatcher pass was breathtaking. We met a ton of people who wanted to check the truck out. It’s def an eye catcher and perfect for a true adventure. We will be back and we will definitely book with Look like a Local again … if I could give 10 stars I would. From the Cooney’s New Port Richey, FL

Q.I'm over 6'-0" tall and 250lbs, will I adequately fit and be comfortable sleeping in the main bed?
A.
Yes, the main bed is extremely comfortable and anyone 6'-2" or taller will have to sleep at a slight angle, but the bed is plenty wide enough to accommodate.
Q.Is Henry a "Stick Shift" Manual Transmission that requires knowing how to clutch and shift manually?
A.
YES, Henry is a 5-speed manual transmission that requires the knowledge and skill set of using a clutch, knowing engine RPM, and shift pattern. It is an extremely easy stick-shift to drive so if you have not driven a stick shift in several years dont fret, Henry is very forgiving.
IF you have never driven a stick shift before in your life, Henry is NOT for you.
Q.We are planning a Fall Trip or Winter Adventure well below freezing, will the wood stove keep us warm?
A.
YES, Henry is very well insulated and was constructed to be a true 4-season adventure rig. The wood stove is sized and built specifically for the cabin size of Henry and once the first fire is lit and things warm up to temperature you will be su very pleased with your cozy warm cabin.
Please see our "ADD-ON" option with precut and split firewood sized for the tiny stove and precut composite 4-hr fire logs for the "overnighter" logs before bed.
