Review summary
Thoroughly instructed, always helpful
Hosts gave a comprehensive crash course, explaining everything thoroughly. They were very responsive to questions during the trip and resolved minor issues quickly, making renters feel confident.
Easy and comfortable to drive
Lulu was easy to drive, even for first-timers, holding up great with no mechanical issues. It was clean, well-stocked with kitchen/grilling supplies, and comfortable during travel for multiple trips.

5.0Awesome trip from St. Louis to Wisconsin Dells! We recently rented this 22-foot 2019 Thor Class C motorhome for a trip from St. Louis up to Wisconsin Dells, and it made for a fantastic vacation. The RV didn't give us a single issue the entire drive, handled the highway smoothly, and even got better gas mileage than we expected. It really brings all the comforts of home along for the ride. A huge plus was the cooling system: the powerful F-350 cab AC kept us crisp while driving, and the roof unit supported by the propane generator kept the whole cabin nice and cool while parked, exactly as the hosts suggested. A few budget tips for future renters: Since you're renting a Class C without a secondary commuter vehicle attached, remember that every errand or local sight-seeing run adds up at $0.69 per mile. Between that extra mileage, the $4.00/hour generator usage fee, fuel costs, and campground fees, the extra expenses can build up fast if you aren't paying attention to the fine print. While the host's recommendation to run the generator keeps things comfortably cool, if you can live without running it constantly or consolidate your local driving, you'll save quite a bit. Just stay conscious of your overall budget so there are no surprises! Overall, it’s a wonderful rig with great performance, and we would definitely rent it again. 5.0Wow! What a great experience over all. The couple that owns Lulu were amazing. They communicated very well even before we picked the rig up. We met them, they took us around the vehicle and gave us a comprehensive crash course. We felt prepared and confident when we left the house. We went to the east coast on a civil war trip and the rig held up great. There were very minor issues but the owners helped us right away. We had zero mechanical issues and the size of the rig allowed us to travel basically everywhere we wanted. It was our first RV trip and It was a very successful one. I want to thank the owners for being so kind and flexible with us. Tip: Koa campsites work great. Definitely recommend and we are even thinking about renting again!

5.0Sherri and Charlie were the BEST to work with! I couldn't ask for a better first time Outdoorsy experience. Very responsive and full of information. Lulu was great as well. Clean and well stocked. Felt comfortable and safe during the storm too. Perfect for my trip to Rosebud RV Park.
