"The Parker Van" is an Explorer 4 model created by Muse & Co. Outdoors, a premier van builder in Oakland, CA. This brand new Mercedes Sprinter has a 144” wheelbase (the shorter cousin of the 170" wheelbase Amazon vans).
Amenities include 3 separate beds for up to four people (see breakdown below), full kitchen featuring a dining area, sink, fridge/freezer, induction stove, and fully-stocked pantry - all you need to bring is your food. Enjoy a 7-gallon, roof-mounted solar road shower. Suspension/wheels/tires upgraded for the smoothest ride. Keep comfortable year round with AC, Insulated window covers, 10’ retractable awning, roof ventilation, a thermostat-controlled heater, and mosquito net. Built-in cabinets provide ample storage for your clothes, games and provisions. The front seats swivel so four people can cozy up around the table. Power up devices with multiple power outlets and integrated USB charging. Enjoy dimmable recessed lighting and two bedside lamps. The rear garage features an air compressor (Presta valve), two fold-down tables, and tons of storage space. 2- or 4-bike racks are available as an add-on. 1) Built in bed with a ridiculously comfortable memory foam mattress is 60”wide x 67” long, which is as wide as a Queen mattress, but 13” shorter. This bed is suitable for one or two people.
2) Convertible bed in the galley is 34”wide x 70” long, which is 4” narrower than a twin mattress, and 5” shorter. This bed is suitable for one person. We’ve had a guest who’s 6’5” sleep in it who commented, “my ankles weren’t on the bed, but it was comfortable”.
3) A clever, custom-sized, inflatable “Luno” mattress system converts the front seats into a bed for a smaller person (or dog), and is 30”w x 58” long, which is 8” narrower than a twin mattress, and 17” shorter. This bed is suitable for one person, and accommodates folks 5’7” and below, taller folks will feel scrunched.What's included: All bedding & pillows, everything you need to make and serve a meal for 4 people: cookware, tableware, utensils, basic spices & oils, etc, camping table, 4 camp chairs, bluetooth portable speaker, insulated blackout window covers, cleaning supplies, ladder, easy entry steps for getting in and out of the van, basic campsite supplies including s’mores sticks and a toolkit. Muse & Co. Outdoors was started in March, 2020 when our 16-year old architectural design and build company was shut down overnight by Covid-19. We knew we had to keep our incredible team of designers and craftspeople employed, or risk losing them. So we hunkered down to remotely design and build our prototype Sprinter van conversion using our print department's delivery van. Fast forward three months, and my husband and I took off for a month's trip up the West Coast. Everywhere we went someone wanted to buy our van - or one just like it, and voila, our new business was born!

Renting a converted sprinter van has been on my list for a while. Really glad I was able to do it through Karyn - the pickup was excellent, walking me through all the details. The van also comes with an extensive custom-created manual that answers essentially every question a "sprinter newbie" like me could have. After getting used to how it handles and drives, the experience taking the vehicle up north to the Mendocino area has been nothing but amazing.

amazing experience! camper is fully stocked to make novice camping easy. our first time camping with 2 young kids and i wouldn't do it any other way. we loved it.

Karyn's Sprinter was the perfect vehicle for our trip to Death Valley. It was a pleasure to drive with it's upgraded suspension. Once at camp, whether with facilities or not, the van provided all we needed. It's robust electrical system kept a fridge and cooler running the whole trip.
It was nice knowing that Karyn's company Muse Outdoors had built out the van and was available to assist with technical issues or questions. All and all a great adventure for a first timer to Death Valley.
