We had a great time at the Four Floyds camper! This was our little "end of summer" getaway with our 4yo and 10yo before school started, and we were happy to spend time with their grandparents (who were able to get the campground space next to us). Brittany and Matt couldn't have been more helpful! They were very responsive and communicative from before the trip even started, and even put the camper in backwards so that we could face my parents' RV (allowing the kids to run back and forth and for us to share the space in between). We had two issues with the camper during the trip, but Matt came out immediately to fix them both times. Brittany even brought a lovely gift at the end!As far as the camper and set up itself, it is great for what we needed. Nothing super fancy, and it is small, but just right for our family of 4. The queen bed is firm but comfortable (memory foam). The twin bunks are very hard but the kids don't seem to mind at all! (The lower bunk is very warm in the summer as well because the AC unit struggles to get air down there but the little one also didn't mind this.) The linens were comfortable and the kitchen was more than well-stocked, with two different coffee makers (drip and french press), toaster (great with kids), griddle, blender, pans, knives - just about anything you could need. Slight warning that there is NOT much storage space for food (either dry goods or the fridge). We just barely fit our cold food in the fridge but kept a separate smaller cooler for our drinks, and kept a separate box in our van for most of our dry goods, and we were only there for the weekend, so staying longer would require using a cooler or more store trips for cold items. (The cabinet above the dinette is the best space for food storage.) The outdoor set up items were also nice, with an outdoor table, rug and chairs. The local campground they recommended (Johnson County Park) was simple but nice, with some nice hiking trails and a well-stocked fishing pond (for fishing with grandma!).The only thing thats might have been improved this was outdoor lighting (though they have a battery-powered lantern to use for this) and an additional step for getting in and out (the step was extra big for our 4yo, but he managed!). I would also suggest bringing a small fan to move the AC air around the camper a little better, as it is a window unit. All told, we had a great weekend and wouldn't hesitate to rent from the Floyds again, and are grateful for their hospitality!
