5Jay & Staci were the ultimate hosts! Their RV is spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. We rented it for the Seven Stars Music Festival, and they went above and beyond to make sure we were set up for a great time. Knowing we were flying in, they stocked the RV with all the essentials and even surprised us with a thoughtful goodie bag of snacks and drinks. I highly recommend renting from them — you won’t be disappointed!

5Staci and Jay were incredible hosts! Honestly the best communication and accommodation with all of our questions and needs. We were taking our first RV trip with our 1.5 year old and they helped us make it perfect. The walk through was super thorough and made us more confident for the trip and whenever we had questions on the road they answered promptly and helped us out. Five stars!! The Outlaw was a treat as well and served us as a great home away from home. It is stocked with what you need, drives great, and is set up with great sleeping situations. We will definitely be renting from Staci and Jay again, you will not be disappointed so get ready to enjoy your trip!

5I cannot say enough about how amazing it was to rent from Jay and Staci! From the moment we connected they were both eager to communicate with us and make sure our trip was one would remember. They answered all of our pre-travel questions and were flexible with our timing of the trip. When we arrived to pick up the RV, they were detailed in their explanation of how everything inside and outside of the RV worked, which as first-times, set our minds at ease! They even provided us with an amazing gift baskets of treats and trinkets for our trip! Staci was available pretty much 24/7 when we had questions. The RV itself was spacious enough for for grown adults to enjoy an amazing weekend together. All the amenities provided inside and outside the RV were easy to use! If you are in the Richmond area and are thinking of renting an RV, Jay & Staci are the perfect fit for you!! We cannot wait until next year!!

5My older brother died suddenly in February of 2022, so I knew that Christmas was going to be tough for my family back in Arkansas. I live in Virginia so we're not around the rest of my family. I was in the Navy for almost 30 years and hadn't been back to Arkansas for a Christmas in about that same amount of time. I wanted to have my whole family together this year, or what remains of it. The best way I could figure to get us all together at the same time would be to rent an RV and drive it in. My wife has significant medical issues so I couldn't leave her alone while I went into Arkansas by myself so I thought I'd take her, my 16-year-old son, my adult stepdaughter and my 2-year-old Pug Franky. I searched through all of the RVs on the site and Jay and Stacy's was the most accommodating for our trip. It looked nice inside and out and had a few amenities that I thought were pretty cool (a back porch and hammock swings.) Stacy called and spoke to me on more than one occasion and was able to identify that I wouldn't be able to take the RV back to my condo since most HOAs don't allow an RV to be parked in the area. They were about 100 miles away from Virginia beach and allowed me to come in the day before our trip to bring some items and go over all of the RV since this was my first time ever renting, driving, or using an RV. They were very thorough and left me with a binder and their phone number in case I needed anything along the way. The day I came in to get the RV, they decorated it with Christmas lights and left us a basket full of goodies for us and the dog. I thought that was such a kind, an above-and-beyond gesture that I wasn't expecting. I did call them almost every day of travel on the way into Arkansas and they were more than helpful. We had some issues, such as when I made the turn too sharp in a gas station and dented the cover over the generator. They didn't react in a negative way and I called them immediately to report it. I felt terrible for it since they had trusted me with their RV and that happened but they never shamed me for it, for which I was very grateful Then we got into Arkansas and freeze happened, which froze and burst the water lines such that I couldn't hold water in the tank or prevent it from leaking when hooked up to City water. Thank God my Dad knew someone who got it fixed for us. All this to say, that I normally hate Christmas, I hate everything about it from after Thanksgiving until January 2nd. I've hated it for almost 30 years and wondered why. It is not supposed to be about gifts, it is. It was supposed to be about the birth of Jesus, it's not the world that removed Him from Christmas (I didn't). It was because I didn't have my whole family together during that time. This year, we did and Jay and Stacy helped to make that prayer come true. God was involved, He helped me drive that giant thing through the applications at night with Semi-trucks passing and pushing me almost off the road. Also, when I came to get the RV the day of the trip they had decorated it for Christmas with some lights and a sign as I had mentioned before, and that was the first time in almost 30 years that when I saw Christmas decorations I didn't get a lurch of pain in my stomach. Jay and Stacy didn't just take a chance to rent to a first-timer, they acted like an extension of my family and virtually went with us on the trip to make it a success. I don't think I'll rent an RV again anytime soon, but if I did (and they would let me) I would contact Jay and Stacy.

Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible with pick up and drop off. Let us know your plans so we can arrange what works best.
Q.
Is there a charge for RV items that are damaged or not returned?
A.
Yes. There is a charge for our RV items that are damaged or not returned. This goes for anything on board at the time of rental (items included and/or rental items). Ask for the essentials checklist and I'm happy to send it. If there is something we include that you don't need, we are happy to remove it to make room for your essentials. Example: Mini Keurig
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Be cautious while driving and pay attention to your surroundings. The clearance of the RV is important so look for low hanging branches from trees (especially in neighborhoods) and obviously no drive thru restaurants. Parking lots and gas stations can be tight so pay attention to curbs and fixed objects that are lower to the ground that are hard to see. When going over speed bumps go very slow! When backing up, have someone outside of the RV to help guide you for blind spots. Be safe, stay calm!
Q.
What if we need help with something during our trip?
A.
Communication is key while renting our RV! We are available to help anytime during your trip. We encourage our renters to contact us if there is something they don't know or might have a question about. Although we do a thorough walk through, there will always be questions. It's a lot of information to absorb especially if you are not seasoned RVers. We have a notebook on board with operational instructions, but we are always a phone call away.
