1.0The host was very friendly and responsive, and did his best to help us troubleshoot the issues, which we appreciated. However, the van itself was a very disappointing and unsafe experience. After 3.5 hours of driving, it wouldn’t start. The heating also switched on by itself and couldn’t be turned off. The next day, the van lost power and stopped working just metres after we started driving. We spent almost the entire day troubleshooting an electrical issue, following the host’s instructions. That means that we lost our holidays trying to fix a problem we didn’t caused. So we eventually returned the van early because we no longer felt safe driving it. We appreciate the host’s help, but the van needs a thorough mechanical and electrical check before being rented out again.
