Yakushi is a charming 1991 Toyota Hiace retired Japanese ambulance. She is a right-hand drive, stick shift, diesel 4WD campervan. Featuring a custom conversion fully equipped with a short queen sized bed, foot pump sink, fridge, gas stovetop, ventilation, and diesel heater.Tons of storage space underneath for all of your adventure gear. She can also store two bikes on her rear bike rack. This awesome Japanese import isn't for everyone as she is a right-hand drive stick shift (meaning you'll be sitting on the other side of the van and shifting with your left hand, aka competent stick drivers only). She's also a fully aspirated diesel, not a turbo, so her max speed is 65 mph - and slower if it's windy, uphill, or at high elevation (so she's only for the most patient and unhurried driver). While she has 4WD, she's best driven on more chill 4WD surfaces and can't handle super gnarly tracks.Yakushi is a beautiful rig with a lot of character. She's the perfect van for your picturesque Utah escape. What's included2x camp chairs, camping table, linens, cookware, utensilsRecommendationsThe Moab area is a red rock oasis nestled between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. In Moab itself you'll find Sand Flats Recreation Area and dozens of campgrounds along the Colorado River, by Ken's Lake, in Deadhorse Point State Park, and beyond. Within a few hours you'll find endless public lands to explore, and beyond that more incredible national parks and epic landscapes. This area is a unique and amazing destination for climbing, canyoneering, mountain biking,
river activities, and hiking.Other things to notePets welcome!
