- You should NEVER be on the roof of the unit.
- If you have a pet in the unit without approval you will be charged a $600 fine that will be claimed from your security deposit for deep cleaning. Many people have allergies and we try to be considerate of all renters.
- Please return the unit as you found it- free of trash; dishes, glasses and cookware cleaned if used, towels and bedsheets pulled so they are ready to wash. We kindly as you clean specifically around the toilet to make sure it is cleaned before dropping it off. We have included the cost of cleaning in the daily rental price, but we do charge for the re-sanitization that is necessary. If the unit is returned excessively messy though, there will be a $400 fine that will be claimed from your security deposit.
- If the unit is returned without the tanks being dumped there will be a $250 fine that will be claimed from your security deposit.
- The unit will be given with a full tank of diesel and should be returned refueled. If it is not there will be a service charge claimed from the security deposit of $200 along with the cost of fuel.
- The unit will be given with a full tank of propane and it should be returned refueled. If it is not there will be a service charge claimed from the security deposit of $200 along with the cost of propane.
- You are NOT to go over 60MPH, the unit does have a GPS unit and alerts are sent to us. If you are found to be driving excessively over 60MPH you may forfeit your entire deposit.
- You are NOT to tow any vehicle behind the motorhome.
- You are responsible for ALL tickets, tolls, (bring your receipts as proof of payment so you are not changed by us for unpaid toll fees) impounds and tows.
- The RV is NOT to be taken out of the continental United States.
- If you are late returning the unit there will be a penalty fee of $75 per hour. Many people do return the rig later in the day and choose to pay the additional daily rental fee to be able to have one last, leisurely day. Please just prearrange this with us, it's not a problem at all.
- The renter is responsible for checking and maintaining engine oil level, and tire pressure at each refueling. Any cost associated with negligence resulting in mechanical damage or tire damage will be the renter's responsibility.
- The renter is responsible for tires on the unit (this includes a blowout).RecommendationsPlan your trip ahead of time and book you're camping arrangements to insure a stress free vacation. State parks are always a favorite of ours. They normally have clean bathrooms and showers as well as lots for kids to do. Use paper plates and cups if you're like us.... we hate doing dishes on vacation!Other things to notePLEASE note that there are NO smoking and NO pets allowed inside our rig. An additional cleaning fee will start at $600 if the rig is returned smelling of ANY kind of animals, smoke, burns, found with animal hair, scratches to the furniture, etc. due to a pet. We appreciate your respect and understanding of these requests. No boon-docking, dry camping (dispersed camping on public land), festivals, tailgating is not allowed at anytime.Wood can NOT be transported between locations with the RV. When you bring firewood from your backyard along with you, you risk carrying a tree killing insects or diseases right into your campground. The bugs can crawl out, spread to the trees and forest at the campground or state or national park, and begin to destroy those trees and forests...as well as into the RV. So if you plan to purchase fire wood, do it at the camp grounds and to burn or leave everything you purchase behind. Don't over buy ;)Pick-ups and Drop-offs must be coordinated in advance; pickup time is 2:00-4:00 pm and drop off time is 9:00-11:00 am.We have a four night minimum rental for Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. We truly hope you enjoy your stay and appreciate you treating our second home with love and respect, thank you!
