Meet your host, Dave

Member since 2025

Retired owner of manufacturing company (Corbin Mfg, leading developer of bullet swaging equipment), Navy veteran, competitive shooter and magazine writer for over 50 years. Dave and Kimberly enjoy taking 1-2 week trips to see natural wonders, and bought the RV to enable lower costs with more flexible planning than typical hotel/restaurant/airfare trips. The self contained features of the Class C RV make trips easier to plan with more options. It's much more economical to take groceries and sleep comfortably just by pulling into a campground or, in a pinch, just off the main road, than to pay for hotels and meals. Plus, you always know the cleanliness and suitability of your own own "home on wheels", and the quality of your own meals -- it can be hard to find healthy food at restaurants in new areas. Instead, just take what you like with you!
