Frequently asked questions
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Prep before departure, do a full walk around of the rig. Visually inspect tires, exterior lights, fluids and gas. Always check your gas! Getting there safely is the best way to have fun.
Q.
What are the beds like?
A.
Luna has 2 bed configurations in the dinette: 2 Twin beds OR 1 King. The king bed is configured by extending the support bars between the twin beds and using the back couch cushions to fill in the aisle and create a larger bed.
Q.
Can the AC be used during the day?
A.
Yes! We love the desert. We also understand the unforgiving Southern California sun. We recommend using the ceiling fans in a circulating arrangement. One should pull air in and the other pushes air out. Here are some tricks for surviving the hottest part of the day, usually 1-4pm: Parking under shade when you can. Minimize the heat getting in by closing all the shades BEFORE the heat begins. AC works best when it can maintain a temperature rather than need to cool down a hot room.
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Let us know your travel plans and we will do our best to help kick it off to a smooth start and easy finish.
