This small van has a lot on offer. Think of it as a tent and a bit more on wheels. It handles like a car and sips gas, so driving is both easy and easy on the wallet. It was equally great on the highway and on mountain curves. It is not a sprinter type van that designed to boondock, site camp, and use hookups. It’s best at limited boondocking and camp site camping where you have access to water, toilets, maybe the occasional shower. Kevin is very responsive throughout and his maintenance staff gave us a ride to the airport after our rental, which was very unexpected and welcome. We had a minor challenge with the refrigerator on our trip and Kevin tried hard to troubleshoot it remotely and even tried to get a replacement power cord to us via Amazon. The bed is easy to set up and is comfortable for two tall adults. We did not use the bench and table configuration on our trip. As advertised, just about everything you need is included. That said, nothing is going to blow you away. The cookware and stove system is basic and is mostly best for simple boil or heat meals unless you have access to a grill. There is enough internal storage and cubbies, though many were held up with command strips that failed in 100+ degree heat. The shower setup works just fine in a pinch and holds enough for two quick sea showers. The under bench/bed sliding compartments for cooking equipment, water, and the fridge work well and are a decent design, but you may tire as we did of having to slide them in and out for access. The window covers work to keep out bugs and give some privacy, but more ventilation would have been welcome, though the included usb fan was great. The added roof storage is very helpful and useful and the solar system worked very well, though was really only needed for the fridge which had other issues on our trip. These are all fair and expected trade offs for the size of the van, in my opinion. It was exactly what we expected and wanted for our trip. Would rent again for a two person southwest trip. We went from Vegas to Joshua Tree to coastal California as far north as Monterey then to Yosemite and sequoia NP, so we covered a lot of ground and this van was steady, safe, and comfortable for the duration for our adventure.

From the very beginning Kevin was extremely helpful and returned all of our questions quickly. Husband is 6’4” and found the bed very comfortable. The van is extremely efficient on fuel as well.

Kevin’s answer

Thank you for your trip!

We did the “grand circle road trip.” Started in Vegas, headed east and circled around, finishing in Grand Canyon then back to Vegas. Amazing fuel mileage, most of the trip averaged 28mpg, handled the mountains well too. We did not go off reading at all (as advertised, would not suggest.) We did not end up using the toilet or shower due to our sites having public access, so can’t speak to their functionality at all. Owner was quick to answer all questions and assisted us with everything we needed. Extremely easy to convert to the bed for sleeping and back for driving (took us less than 5 minutes every morning to pack up and head out.) Bed was surprisingly extremely comfortable. My only issue (and my fiancé drove 90% of it and he did not complain about it) is that there is no cruise control. I definitely rely on that for long drives so I would have appreciated that across the desert. Would definitely recommend and would use again.
