The RV was beautiful. The previous renter had damaged the awning so we couldn’t use that. The TVs weren’t working- a big reason we picked this vehicle was to keep the kids entertained during the drives. The owner was responsive when I texted him the problem but we weren’t able to resolve the issue. Also the drop off was a little strange to me, I ended up returning it to a different guy and I wasn’t sure if that was the right protocol. He didn’t check the mileage or review the condition of the vehicle (it was fine, just a bit dirty on the outside) but I left feeling a little insecure. When I called the outdoorsy rep, they said I had to ensure that I was dropping it off to the right person or else I’d be liable, but how could I possibly verify that? Anyway, we got to our destination and back without any safety issues from the vehicle. I’d have liked some kind of apology or partial refund for the non working TV and a more formal drop off.
