2023 Airstream Basecamp
Built ruggedly to enjoy the outdoors, the Basecamp 20X is truly a turnkey trailer for adventure lovers. This rig features the X-Package — 12 inches of ground clearance, aggressive off-road Goodyear tires, larger wheels, stainless steel front stone guards, and tinted window guards.... your off-road travel becomes seamless. The L-track storage system (tie-down system with built-in floor hooks) ensures secure storage for bikes, kayaks, fishing poles, skis, and other outdoor gear. There is a larger rear convertible bed to make it easier to take friends or family along and a four-seat dinette in the front for easier in-trailer dining, which also converts to a bed. You could easily fit a number of adults and kids in this thing. (the back bed is larger than a king)Although this is set up for off-the-grid camping, it still allows for a few comforts: a solar array keeps the fridge operational while in the wilderness, propane will run the heater, and heat the water for a nice hot shower. (though be careful not to drain your tank!)Seriously - you will love this trailer.Features:
3500 lb dry weight (we tow with a Toyota Tacoma), 4300 max weight. You
will need an 7-pin connector and an electric brake controller.
-180 W of solar, easily supplies 12 V electricity for operation of refrigerator, water pump, lighting, USB charging ports.
-Rear door access for transport of bikes, paddleboards, etc.
- Exterior propane connection.
- Separate gray and black water holding tanks.
- 28-gallon water storage tank.
- Interior shower and toilet.
- Manual hitch
We recommend bringing extra water and/or containers for sustained boondocking. What's includedWe probably have everything you might need, just let us know what you want! Chairs, cookware, utensils, camping table, marshmallow roasting sticks, french press, kettle, moral support, sleeping bags, blankets, other stuff. RecommendationsThis beauty is meant for boondocking and exploring the wilderness. Take her up to Mt. Hood, the coast, or way out to Steens Mountain. Maybe enjoy the desert, get a view of the ocean when you wake up in the morning. Just please, don't put her in a RV park, her soul will die. (well, it's okay for a night or two).Other things to noteDogs are welcome but must be well behaved (no chewing on stuff), no smoking (anything), no festivals or tailgating. Please bring her back clean.

We are a family of four who love adventures! Kate prefers glamping, Justin loves roughing it, so we compromised and got a beautiful Airstream Basecamp! We thought it would be nice to share it though so others could enjoy the beautiful outdoors like we do!

Kate and Justin were incredibly friendly, great at communicating, and truly wanted to ensure we had a great experience. Plus the trailer was comfortable, clean, and convenient. It was an excellent experience renting from them.

First family RV trip down to the California Redwoods. Worked perfectly for our family of 3 and towed easily behind our Rivian R1T. I want my own but will likely just rent again!

Working with Justin and Kate was awesome. This was our first time towing a trailer and they were mega helpful and patient, answering all my questions and putting us at ease. Super communicative and made sure we had everything we needed before we headed out. The trailer was great, kept us warm in 20 degree weather in South Dakota and Wyoming. An amazing experience!
