The trailer has brakes.
Tow vehicle needs to have a 7-way (blade) electrical outlet to take the round plug from the trailer. A 4-pin connection on the vehicle won't do. Trailer needs the regular 4 wires for lights and ground, plus 3 more wires for brakes and charging system
I tow it with a Ford Escape that was rewired with a brake controller, and a 7 blade (round connector)
Weights (note change from previous reported weights)
Trailer weight 959 kg (2095 lbs) from factory.
Hitch weight is 259 lbs as equipped from the factory. Loading will affect that weight.ADD-ONS
