2022 Winnebago Solis Pocket only 1500 miles

Great way to explore Maui! We spent 12 wonderful nights in the van and truly loved the setup—it gave us the freedom to chase sunsets, beaches, and hidden spots all over the island. Steve was fantastic—super responsive with quick communication and very flexible on pickup/drop-off times, which made our arrival and departure stress-free. Highly appreciate that personal touch! A couple of minor things to note for future renters: The van arrived with the fresh water tank not fully topped off and the propane empty, so please check them before you head off grid (easy fix, but worth mentioning). There were also a few cockroaches inside, which was a bit surprising, however, we became friends and ensured we kept the van clean and food free to ensure more didn’t join us, but it might be good to double-check cleaning between rentals. The solar panel is a nice feature in theory, but it didn’t generate quite enough power to keep the fridge running consistently while also charging devices, especially on cloudier days. Overall, these were small hiccups in what was otherwise an amazing adventure. The van’s layout worked perfectly for us, and we’d definitely recommend this as a fun, flexible way to experience Maui!

Overall - exactly what we were looking for! We had a little trouble working the electrical system, but nothing that prevented us from doing anything. We would have loved a walk through of how to operate certain parts of the RV but the convenience of having it available to us at the airport for pick up and drop off was well worth it. Would absolutely rent again and recommend to other friends and family.
