Napali is one of the most unique pieces of artwork you can experience VanLife on the island of Kauai. A family-owned vehicle since 1999, this one of a kind van has only had one owner. The incredible mural was meticulously designed by the owner and executed by surfer, van & mural artist Drew Brophy.
Napali HAS 5 Seatbelts!
We can sleep 4-5 People.
She’s a one of a kind, experience of a lifetime fantastic journey waiting for you to take her by the wheel and see all of the beautiful sights and sounds our island has to offer.
With a pull out couch that becomes a bed, plush bedding, high-end linens and all of the camping gear you need to make your trip complete, Napali will take you to the best beaches and camping grounds on island.
Inspired by the Napali coast, the ocean, marine life, flowers and waterfalls represent the most nourishing and beautiful life qualities that we embrace here on our island.
Please note that the ***price listed is for TWO people. If you have 1-2 maximum of Additional people in your party including children under 4 it will be an extra $25 per person per night.**Napali IS NOT Equipped FOR ANY OFF-Roading.***Please no trips to Polihale.Note that the people that gave a three star review did not heed my advice and they did not go to Anini or Kokee Lodge. Instead, they went to salt pond and they got asked to sleep outside the van. I feel like the review was retaliatory as my tone was very sweet and nice in the messages and I never gave them any hassles and lots of recommendations of things to do. I was surprised they chose to camp there despite my advice.
No one else has ever made any comments about the size of the bed for 4 years! I’ve had men taller than 5’9”, multiple families of 4, and now a family of five sleep there and have been completely comfortable.
Note:
Sleeping Inside A Vehicle IS Technically Prohibited ON Public Roads AND Government Property IN THE State OF Hawaii. NOT Just Kauai. So by booking you sleep inside the van at your own risk.
**We advise finding private property or going to Anini Beach Park as your best option.**
Kumu Camp HAS Dangerous Logs That Have Ripped OFF THE Running Board Causing Over $10k Worth OF Damage. This is because the artist needs to be flown out in order to repaint any part of the mural. We had the NaPali Van for 4 nights and explored most of the island. It was a beautiful adventure, the process was easy and Stephanie’s help with everything was amazing too. She provided a folder with highlights and suggestions, which was super convenient. She’s also easy to reach out to and helps you out any time.
The van is beautiful but be aware that it’s an old vehicle. We were a bit worried to break something and that made us feel a little bit anxious.
The bed also was a bit too small for two people & my 6,2ft boyfriend had problems sleeping. Everything you need is provided; cooking oil, soap, dishes but the spices were the bare minimum. There were some old pepper packages & almost no salt. Be aware that on the campsite are homeless people around, that made us feel a bit uncomfortable too. All in all, it was probably the best way to explore the island and we loved our time in Kauai a lot!

Stephanie was so great. We had a medical issue that made us cancel and she helped so much to make sure we were taken care of and return vehicle and get as much of our money back in the return of the vehicle.

We had the best time with this van.
Stephanie was so great with us. She made it easy by being so accomodating, helpful and Quick to respond and help with any of our question.

Hi All, this Campervan was so much fun! We did find different places to stay in Kauai. Each day we had different excursions that we were able to afford since we were saving money on a hotel room. Then at night we would travel to the next days excursion sight and stay somewhere nearby there. If all else fails we stayed in the parking lot of the US Coast Guard office in Kauai, at 3070 Waapa Rd A, Lihue, HI 96766. Here people were sleeping on the boats so lots of cars had people in them too. Either way you had to be a little creative and you had no issues finding a place to sleep.
Stephanie was kind and explained all the in's and out's of the vehicle to us. We also ate at some neat food joints. I can't wait to visit this island again and stay in the Napali one more time. My girlfriend and I loved it!
