Perfect for two couples and/or mom, dad and two kids... maybe three? Two beds, fold out and Queen.
This super clean well kept RV has been released to the public! I am second owner of this almost new 31 yr old, 80,000 original Kms.
Although allowing use of “Instant Book” I still remain the last say as to who and where traveling are concerned. I have a strict cancellation policy also… read it!
Pets TO BE Discussed!
It’s a happy place with 100 Ltr fuel tank and power steering.
Onto the ferry for a surf trip, Fishing? Similar cost as a family auto!
Chevy 30, 350 V8 engine will get you there.
Plenty of opening vents to cool you off .
All the bells and whistles including propane heat (two bottles), large fridge, four burner gas stove with oven. Full bathroom with hot water shower and flush toilet
Bring your own tunes! Have Apple Car Play installed. Well behaved pets? We can talk.
This easy park, get in and go sleeps 4 comfortably, new deep cycles and starting battery power, 110 plug in. Pressure hot and cold water...
In preparation for rental season: All fuel lines new, Gas tanks cleaned and double filter's added, complete tune-up including new distributer, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, fuel pump. Including new tires, tools and spare gas can.
Remember it is a V8 it uses as much gas as you give her.... you can go easy and spend little or burn lots speeding up mountain passes.
You will see NO Smoking meaning Cannabis's or Tobacco products. Strictly enforced!
Mileage and distance calculated in kilometers not miles as stated in some places on the USA site.
“Shorty” was amazing. Truly an old school motorhome. No complaints at all. Honestly it was a blast to drive. The host Jim was charming and charismatic. He needs a 5 plus star rating. If we had a question he was quick to respond. I truly felt he cared and I would highly recommend this rental and the host!!What's includedLinens are for you to bring as well as towels, I provide a protective bed cover. Two beds.
Utensils, cookware, kettle, toaster, pots and pans some cleaning products, are on the rig
Basically you will bring everything you need for daily living ( towels, bar soap etc.)
Full tank of gas, full propane, full water, full deep cycle batteries(charging when plugged to 110) included. Mileage is charged in kilometers . Extra mileage and distance measured in km.
Interior Cooled with three vents, which one is automatic rain detecting fan and awning for rain or hot sun days,
Curtains wrap around the front interior window for privacy...Blinds on all windows.
Storage in above cupboards and below fridge...
RecommendationsI believe this is a fantastic vehicle for BC, Vancouver Island , Western Canada and Alaska roads and HWYS. Whether North or South or local the rig is easy to drive, easy to park, bright and cheerful inside.
There is no cruise control or AC
Other things to noteNo off road, if you go there you pay tow out and any damage. It is fine to get into mapped camp sites but anything else is at your cost to get out if stuck.
Behaved pets welcome with pet damage deposit as part of your sign up. Meaning no dog or cat hair left behind.
No festivals unless specifically approved by me...
No Smoking in the rig and this means Ganga also! Pets negotiable on discussion , not until I approve, will include pet deposit.

That was our first ever in our lives driving motorhome and using camping grounds. Fantastic experience we would like to repeat in the future. Thanks to Jim's patience and though explanation how everything works our anxiety was lesser. We experienced this beautiful sun set by Logan Lake and did some shopping in Desert Hill Farm.

What is there to say about James and his "short bus" but AMAZING! From communication before the trip, to having a cold fridge and full-tank of water on meet-up/pick-up, James was outstanding every step of the way. He is very through in his walk thru making sure you know everything so that your trip can be as comfortable as possible, and he was always a short text away if any questions arose! The camper was perfect for our girls trip and we couldn't have asked for anything better! Drove like a dream with no issues! Highly recommend and would rent again in a heart beat! Thank you James for making our trip one to remember!

Our recent RV rental experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the get-go, our host, James, went above and beyond with a thorough explanation of the RV's operation, making us feel confident and comfortable for our first RV adventure. The RV itself was a dream—immaculately maintained, spacious, and fully equipped for our trip. It handled like a charm on the road, and James constant support and expertise ensured a smooth journey. If you're looking for an unforgettable RV getaway with an outstanding host, look no further. This experience left us with cherished memories and a newfound love for RV travel. Highly recommended!

This RV was great to drive and apparently great on gas as far as RVs go. Loved the small size and therefore lighter weight, which obviously helps! The 'bus' was super clean and comfortable, it is in great shape especially considering its' vintage. My grandparents had a 'Vanguard' trailer of exactly the same period, and so this really took me back. We had no issues at all. The top bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the functionality of the kitchen and bathroom was great. James was easy to work with, super communicable and helpful, and he obviously loves this old rig. We will most definitely book with him again!

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

Pretty flexible if not rented nxt day

Q.

Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?

A.

Not really, its a get in and drive... don't store heavy things above driver area, watch things on counter tops as may fall during driving,

Q.

How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?

A.

Easy hook up to all... I will show you. You can go at least 7 days on your own (boondocking) without any hookups.

Q.

Towing a trailer, boat etc?

A.

Talk to Jim direct... towing charge will be in affect. To be discussed. Hitch is locked.

Hi folks! I'm a bit of an ocean traveler turned land crawler. This RV has done my sports coaching well on land with Adaptive Sports and kids. This really cute four person ride is like driving a car….getting on the ferry? Same price as a car! Perfect surf vehicle, fishing, camping! Jim
