New to Maui from the Rockies, this late model award winning Winnebago Travato is guaranteed to provide a unique experience for your vacation and is the ultimate go anywhere coach. The vehicle is the most comfortable option available on Maui with added comfort, space and incredible handling. No special licensing required - if you can drive an SUV you will feel right at home driving this vehicle. The coach is one of the only on Maui sleeps 4 comfortably in beds. It does not get any easier to drive than this! It is maneuverable and fun to cruise - easy to catch sunrises on the crater or to take trips to Hana and swim in the 7 Sacred Pools. Note: This IS ONE OF THE Only Campervans ON Maui With ITS OWN Built IN Generator TO RUN Cool House AIR Conditioning, Appliances, ETC. Travelers be advised, that Maui does not offer a single campground with power hookup. Therefore, a built in generator is critical and the only assurance you will have that you will have adequate energy and have it available whenever you need it. This campervan is the solution travelers need when renting on Maui to avoid the stress of having everything possibly go down on your vacation!
The campervan is also packed full of features such as USB charge points, indoor/outdoors speakers, solar, elegant cabinetry, heated tanks, generator and high capacity coach batteries. This rig also offers a Winnebago designed full roof rack system and ladder to access the roof to strap down your quiver of surfboards/SUP/boogie boards and kayak. The bicycle rack is located on the rear doors and can hold two bikes. We also offer the courtesy option of a cargo rack that fits off the trailer hitch with a 300 lb. capacity for those with additional gear or two extra bikes. The height of the unit allows for easy mobility inside without having to hunch over at all or watch your head. Please note, the second bed can accommodate up to 150 lbs total therefore best suited for two kids or one medium weight adult or teen. If you have two larger adults and are above that total weight limit, this is not the right vehicle for you or you will want a secondary tent. Thanks for your help with this.We have found that with new rules and traffic patrols at the airport, pickup at the airport are impractical and do not provide time for either a quick orientation to our renters or for us to answer any of your last minute questions before airport police scoot you along. Therefore, we have leased an adjacent private location a few minutes and a 5 dollar Uber ride from the airport to make the vehicle transfers comfortable and easy. We also have a member of our staff perform this personally and then provide ongoing basic phone support throughout the duration of your trip.The solar on the roof and two large batteries provide power. When needed there is a generator that can run the air conditioning and all the systems in the coach for extremely comfortable dry camping. There is also propane gas for the cooktop and refrigerator. There is a bed for two in the back that folds up when not in use and the table and the bench area in the front converts into a bed for two. The vehicle is very discreet and will enable you to cruise Maui much like a local without any rental company stickers or decals or highly conspicuous and hard to use pop up roof tents.The bathroom is roomy for a class B coach with a shower, sink and toilet all in the same area. This coach has one of the largest refrigerators of any Class B along with a microwave, sink, and two burner range. The front seating area has a table for up to 5, TV, DVD player and stereo with bluetooth connectivity. Both front seats swivel backwards for a nice seating area when parked. There are seat belts for 4 and high gloss Mirabella cabinetry for that added degree of sophistication.Enjoy music from the outdoor speakers with outdoor outlets to provide power for your devices or whatever else you need to plug in. The front sliding door has a retractable screen to allow in the fresh Maui air. You also have rooftop automatic ventilation and screened coach windows. There is an outdoor shower in the back for hosing off after a day at the beach or washing off sand from your feet or boards. The needed RV supplies for water and sewer, and toilet paper are provided. Diane was a great communicator throughout the rental. The communication broke down after we returned the vehicle and she filed a claim against our security deposit saying that there were scratches on the exterior due to our washing of the vehicle before we returned it. She had no complaint on the inspection when we returned it- she said that she saw the problem “later.” Outdoorsy is currently mediating this for us - I have no idea how much she wants to charge us to “fix” this.

This is exactly what we were looking for. We had a great time on our trip. We drove to Hana and Haleakala. We have everything we needed to make this trip stress free. It’s easy to drive.
Make sure to book your campsite well in advance as most of the campsite get booked up.

We had such a blast on our trip!! It was great to be able to be so mobile and we had such a great experience. The van is great, has everything you need! We drove it on the road to Hana and had no issues, just took it slow/careful. One FYI is look into campsites well in advance to make sure you can book where you like! We had hoped to visit several around the island but most had filled by the time we looked (we looked very last minute so really our fault). We ended up staying at camp olowahu all 3 nights which was still wonderful and super nice.

Perfect vehicle for a Maui experience. They work hard to ensure stay is the best possible. Ensured I knew how to use all features of the van. Very accommodating with transportation to and from airport. Would not want to experience Maui any other way.
