5.0Chickadee Van may not be the biggest, newest, or most luxurious campervan out there. It doesn’t have all the comforts that some of the bigger vans offer. And yet, somehow, it gave me an experience that I wouldn’t trade for anything. There is something incredibly special about this little van, and it has everything you actually need for an adventure, with so many thoughtful and practical little details. Chickadee made me slow down, embrace the simplicity, and experience the freedom of driving and parking almost anywhere! And then there’s Lisa. From the very beginning, she was kind, generous, incredibly trustworthy, and genuinely lovely to deal with. You can feel how much she loves Chickadee Van and how much she cares about people. So if you’re comparing campervans, I’d say this: Don’t underestimate the little one. It might be exactly what you need. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to experience Alaska. Thank you! 💙

5.0We had so much fun in the chikadee. It was great to pop the door and be outside while still in bed!

5.0The Chickadee is awesome. It’s a really well designed van - the bed, drawers, window covers, etc were all just perfect. We did not really use the interior table setup, because it was a little too tight inside with it, but this wasn’t a problem for us. The little touches were nice too, like the light strings inside, the camp rocking chairs, the power charging jackery box, bedding. Everything made for an easy and comfortable experience. The host, Lisa, is a great communicator. She was shared all the key info about the van, and even helped provide some travel tips about Juneau. Juneau was amazing. The scenery is lovely, as is the wildlife (we saw whales from our van one morning, plus sea lions, black bears, seals, eagles, porcupines, and more). Magical. We were able to find places for overnight van parking for free and quite enjoyed that, but there are also campgrounds in the area.
