Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

I am pretty flexible. As long as I can have myself or my wife meet with you to fill out paperwork, I will try hard to work around your schedule.

Q.

Does this stay warm in cooler weather?

A.

Absolutely! My son-in-law stayed in it with his wife and their baby less than one year old. Temps got down to 25 degrees. They had the trailer plugged into power. The propane heater, plus the heated mattresses, did their job. As a back up, there is also a ceramic heater that can be used.

Q.

What is there for entertainment?

A.

You have a tv, which can be viewed inside or taken outside and mounted. You can use the antenna to pull in local channels. There are some board games. There is also a gaming system (I believe an XBox One) in there. You are welcome to use that. There is a DVD player built inside the trailer, along with a handful of movies...and there is a portable DVD player which you can take outside to watch movies at night by the campfire.

Q.

Why is the deposit so high?

A.

There is a $500 deductible through the insurance. One generator (we have two, if you need to run the AC) would cost $1,000 alone to replace. I do lower the deposit if no generators are needed.

We started off camping the basic way, 15 years ago. Pack the items into the back of a station wagon and go. Then we graduated to a pop up trailer. I thought set up and tear down times would be quicker, but the wife just brought more stuff, lol. So we got this nice hybrid. Must easier to set up, and we can still have all our comforts. We do love the outdoors.
