Meet Ruby, our happy-go lucky adventure on wheels. She is an all-new, all-weather Winnebago® Solis 59P. She is fun to take to the mountains, rivers, and parks of Montana. Ruby is a fuel-efficient front wheel drive Ram Promaster®, and she has delightful features, such as all-season insulation and plumbing, outdoor and indoor showers, and a heated bathroom. You can snuggle up in her cozy fold down full sofa bed below or up top in the panoramic pop top suite that easily expands your sleeping space. We also have a Luna front seat blow up mattress if you have five passengers, or a Cabbunk sleeping system, which sleeps two younger people comfortably in a bunk system if you fancy travelling with six. If you would like to create a particular adventure, other amenities are available ranging from bike racks, to extra storage, to ski racks, and an outdoor table top with a Blackstone propane table top grille. Let us know what your plans are, and we can modify her to meet your needs. Needless to say, she is a bit of an outdoor renaissance lady. This is our family camper, and we hope that she will help guide you to the adventure of your dreams! What's includedThings that are included:
-Fresh Linens
-Sleeping bags for the Cabbunk
-Dishes (set of six bowls, cups, plates, and cutlery)
-Six Pillows
-Cookware
RecommendationsEvery town and landscape in Montana has its own flavor of adventure. The iconic Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National park are within 200 and 175 miles respectively. They are known to capture the imagination with beauty, mystique, and wonder. If you are a fisherman or woman, Helena is central to some of the best blue ribbon trout streams in the lower 48. If mountain biking is what raises your stoke factor, Helena is a hidden gem for trail systems! Add hot-springs, undiscovered ski areas, and sunsets, and you can't help but have a wonderful experience. Other things to noteUnfortunately Ruby doesn't play well with furry friends, so we have a strict no pets policy. Smoking is also prohibited. We would strongly suggest that because of the propane attached to the undercarriage, you would take it easy venturing off into rutty and rocky dirt backroads, but feel free to sing at the top of your lungs about them. She doesn't wear stilettos, but she also isn't sporting mountaineering boots either.

The van was helpful to have while traveling from the national parks. The beds were not comfortable, and the pillows provided were very thin. Two comforts were provided and that was very helpful. I would recommend requesting a mattress pad for the top bed and getting pillows. When we meet with Andrea during pick up she expressed we would not be able to tell how much propane was left and that was a bit difficult as we started to use the heat more at night (our stay was in September—so colder nights)—I wish we were aware of that before booking. The shower on the inside is very small (my husband is 6’2” and I’m 5’6” for reference) and we were unable to use it. We encountered some difficulties with the water pump(if you left it on for more then 10 minutes it wouldn’t let us get water out of the sink) not sure if it was something we did wrong or what was happening but it was frustrating. The tires were also bald and we had to stop to put air in them as the tire pressure light came on half way through our travels. The ability to stay in a campground in a park was nice, and cooking a meal in the van was nice so you didn’t have to eat out a lot. Andrea did have the van well stocked with cooking utensils/supplies. Andrea was great with communication, the van was very clean, and we appreciate that Andrea was able to drop off and pick up the van at a location that worked for us. Andrea also provided us with bear spray, and other outdoor supplies which were very nice, and helpful! Overall, we stayed in the van for 2 weeks and we would not recommend renting the van for a long stay.

Perfect vehicle for our family (of 4) getaway to Yellowstone! The van was in great condition and came stocked all the essentials you could think of. We really appreciated Andrea’s detailed communication and handoff as well – making us feel totally prepped for the trip.

Andrea was unbelievably responsive to all of my questions and any minor issues that we had. The vehicle itself was great for our trip. It is very well appointed. Andrea has thought of just about everything: linens, pillows cookware, bear spray, bug spray, many basic cooking staples. I would recommend that you ask before bringing anything! The Yakima storage bin and the Blackstone were great add-ons to provide additional storage and cooking options. We had a great trip and a great experience; I cannot recommend renting Andrea’s Camper van enough.” Thank you for your help, Joe Cunningham

This was a great experience! We got the camper van delivered to Bozeman which made it very convenient to our trip. Andrea was awesome w communication and showed us everything for the camper. We have camper experience so we were familiar w how things work. The pop up was amazing and fits adults. It was super easy to drive. She also had everything we needed already in there like camp chairs, bug spray, bear spray, cooking utinsils, blankets , etc. it was also easy to clean afterwards. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to do another trip next time!

This was our first time renting and using a camper van and it was a blast! We were able to travel quite a bit with it in the week we had it. Mount Rushmore, Little Bighorn, Devils Tower, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton! It was well stocked with what we needed and they provided a few additional touches that made the trip so much smoother. Communication with Andrea was great the entire time. She was able to answer my random questions when I couldn't figure something out super quickly. Hoping to do this again in the future!

Hi Welcome to Outdoorsy! My husband and I with our 3 kids live in Beautiful Helena MT. I am a nurse and work at the local hospital. We are adventure seekers and work hard to raise our kids in the great outdoors. We hope to share that experience with families or anyone else looking to recharge their spirits in nature. Please message me and let me know how we can make your adventures come true.
