Overall I am giving the total experience a 3/5. I would break the score down into 2 parts: A. the RV and host, and B. dealing with Outdoorsy and its processes. A. Nataly, the host, was great at answering my questions, keeping me informed, and communications in general. She was very nice and easy to work with. There were one or two minor items that she didn't explain about the RV when I picked it up, but our few questions were answered literally within a minute or two. I would give her a 4.5 rating. The RV itself was average or just a bit above. Every system worked, which we appreciated. However, there were several items that were showing their age and could use repair: A few of the shades did not work correctly; not all of the screens worked as they should have, and the curtain for the bedroom area had several broken hooks. Nataly also told us that the sensors that show the fill levels of the grey and black water did not always measure accurately, but we could not tell if this was an issue. We did not use the shower, so we don't know if it worked correctly. I would give the RV a rating of 3 or maybe 3.1. B. Outdoorsy Processes and Communication were a source of frustration for me. I get that I am going to get a lot of paperwork from them that covers them legally, but they sent different documents many different times leading up to our rental period. There were so many different attachments it was really hard for me to figure out which were the most important, and it also became hard not to just ignore them. (Maybe that is what Outdoorsy was counting on?) More importantly and more frustrating was that during the pickup there was a web site Outdoorsy sent me a link to where I could upload pictures of any existing damage to the RV prior to my rental (there were a couple of minor dings/scrapes.) However, the link to the website to upload the pics did not work. That was a potentially very large problem; fortunately Nataly was very upfront about the existing damage and it didn't become an issue. I would give Outdoorsy a rating of 2 - 2.5 for this rental.

Nataly was super communicative and nice during our trip. She gave us an in depth walkthrough of everything important for the RV, and provided plenty of resources to look back on. I highly recommend renting this RV!

Nataly and her husband seemed very nice and sent us videos of how everything worked in the RV. It's stocked with many kitchen and bathroom items. We were excited to take a trip up north for a few baby showers; however, it was not a relaxing drive. The RV drove extremely bumpy, despite us not going over 70 mph. Everything shook very loudly going over bridges. We noticed a piece hanging underneath the RV, and secured it. When we had it looked at, we were told it was for an aftermarket shock absorber system that had been added. We contacted Nataly about the faulty equipment on the second day of our trip. We also sent additional messages that were unanswered over our entire 9 day trip. It's upsetting that Nataly and her husband didn't respond to us and weren't aware of this broken system sooner - it would have made for a much more pleasant driving experience, and mechanical failures are very scary in terms of safety (and me being 7 months pregnant). It seemed like a charming RV but it's definitely showing its age and the lack of communication did not make for a great first Outdoorsy experience.
