Meet your host, Pam and Joe

Member since 2022

Way back in 1985 Joe and I brought our first camper - a 6 ft hardtop Tent trailer. For Y2K we rented our first Motor home, 27 ft. plenty of room for our family of 5 to experience our first road trip to Disney World. This trip is what got us thinking about one day getting our own Motor Home. We traveled extensively thru out Ontario and the East Coasts of Canada and US. Over the years our family enjoyed many camping trips - trailer, MH, tenting and back-country camping. Now all the boys enjoy travelling, exploring, camping and hiking with their own families.
We hope you will find this is the start to building your own wonderful memories with your family. A new way to travel and explore!
Pam

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
While there are no special tricks to operating a larger RV easily, through the rental screening process we do our best to make sure you have experience and are comfortable operating a larger motor vehicle. Included in the orientation process is a road test with the RV owner, along with the operating instructions of the RV systems and accessories.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
When you pick up your vehicle we will give you a complete walk through and orientation of the entire Motorhome including all the hookups.

Q.How long will the motorhomes batteries typically stay charged?
A.
The coach batteries will charge through solar panels, while driving, when plugged into shore power as well as when generator is running. They typically will keep a charge for 24-48 hours before systems start shutting down depending on guest use an sunlight available, the batteries may last longer.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Pick up and Drop off times are Monday -Saturday between 10:00 AM and 3:00 Pm (NO SUNDAY OR HOLIDAY PICKUPS)
