My name is Tim Macdonald and I am a professional photographer by trade. The flexibility of owning my own business allows me to fulfill my passion of enjoying all this beautiful country has to offer with my wife and two children. For years we rented RV's until we knew exactly which one was right for us. Now that we own one of our own we are thrilled to share the opportunity for other families to create the same memories and experiences that we have. Tim and Sarah were awesome. They helped us throughout the booking to make sure we had everything we needed for our trip. I think they were more anxious than us for our trip to go smoothly. Some things came up throughout the trip (it was a 3 week cross country adventure) and Tim and Sarah were responsive and got the issues fixed right away.
My husband is a quadriplegic so we were concerned about getting him in and around the RV. The side door was great for us to get him in. It was super helpful that it was into the eating area as opposed to the front seat. There was enough room inside to maneuver him from the bedroom, bathroom and front seat. It took some muscle and 4 people but we pulled it off and he was comfortable and safe!
It was a trip of a lifetime and our family is so thankful for Tim and Sarah for helping make it happen. I would DEFINITELY recommend Almost Heaven to anyone looking for an RV adventure of their own!

We were so fortunate to hook up with Tim MacDonald in our search for an RV rental. He was quick to respond to any questions we had and took the time to show us all around the unit prior to our trip.The day we picked up the rig, we found it to be clean and in top notch mechanical condition. Easy to drive and very comfortable for all on board.. Our two week trip to the Midwest and Southern States went without a single glitch... Looking forward to doing it again soon...

I am completely surprised that the entire process from start to finish was easy and without flaw. Everything was as explained and expected. The unit was everything we were told, there were no surprises on the trip. It was a real pleasure to deal with Tim. He adjusted to our plans and made our trip very easy and stress free. Tim made himself available during our entire trip, and because we are new at the RV lifestyle we did have to have some help with things on the trip. Tim stayed in contact with us and even checked in to make sure the trip was going well. I would recommend renting this RV from Tim and also dealing with Outdoorsy to anyone considering a trip in the future.

What a lovely experience! Every part of the process was effortless and efficient. Tim and Sara are extremely gracious hosts, always responsive to questions, and focused on making sure we had a great vacation. The vehicle was extremely clean and well-appointed. The bunk beds are a game changer with kids (so easy!), there is a ton of storage, and the vehicle is a very smooth ride. Will definitely look to rent again! Very pleased.

Tim was outstanding. I was a first time RVer with a dream to take my family to go cross country to My Rushmore, Yellowstone and the Rock Mountains. Tim spent a good amount of time with me explaining all the details about his RV. He has us very well prepared. My family had a trip of a lifetime and it exceeded all our expectations. Tim’s RV was one of the main reasons we had such a great time. I highly recommend, Tim was amazing with communications prior and during the trip.
