2015 Keystone Energy
This toy hauler was purchased for the sole purpose of doing whatever we wanted to, fishing, boating, dirt biking, hunting, hiking, or just flat lounging around. Sometimes life gets busy and it’s great to just escape. We have decided that we would love to offer that capability to other folks like us that just need to get away, and may need an unconventional trailer to do so. We have found the toy hauler to work perfectly for everything we do. It is 100% self contained, with a built in generator, over 100 gallons of fresh water on board, and a fuel station with 40 gallons of fuel capacity making this trailer truly set up for boon-docking, but it also fits in just fine with being set up in a park and plugged in. The back door makes this trailer excellent for loading kayaks, bicycles, atv’s, or just taking in an excellent view from somewhere beautiful (also great if you have pets that shed, open it up and blow it out). Vinyl floors throughout means less worry about a little dirt here and there. Could potentially sleep up to 8 but probably way more comfortable with 5-6. The bed in the bedroom just replaced with a very nice, very comfortable high end mattress. What's included4 bath towels.
2 kitchen towels.
One extra set of sheets for the bed in the bedroom.
1 set of sheets for drop down bed.
2 thin blankets for the bedroom and the drop down bed (it is suggested that you bring your own blankets/sleeping bag and your own pillows).
Basic kitchen equipment (knives, silverware, plastic cups, coffee mugs, plastic bowls, paper plates, pots and pans, and all the utensils needed to make some yummy memories).
some basic cooking must haves (oil, salt & pepper).
on special occasions some Otter Pops in the freezer.
1 roll of paper towel's.
4 cup drip coffee pot (Please bring your favorite ground brew. Can only be ran if plugged in or the generator is running).
1 small outdoor table.
first aid kit.
3 rolls of toilet paper.
deck of cards and some other games
Full propane tanks.
Full fuel tank. (Fuel must be replaced before returning).RecommendationsThis rig is great for boon-docking, and we would highly recommend that this capability is taken advantage of whether its in the high desserts of the East or along the beautiful coasts to the west. This rig will get you in to campgrounds (or......anywhere) that does not necessarily have RV hookups and make it just about as comfortable as if you did.
When booking a spot make sure you have enough room for the truck and the trailer. The trailer is approximately 34' from the back to the front of the hitch, and typically if the truck can not be parked beside it, there will be pull rig parking nearby. I would also like to highly recommend this trailer be towed with a 3/4 ton truck, I have hauled it with a half ton truck, I'm not saying it cant be done, I'm just saying its not comfortable. Please refer to your vehicles owners manual to verify towing capabilities (trailer is 10000 gross and about 7700 empty).Other things to noteThe only things that we really ask is that this RV is treated as if it were yours. We like to use this rig a lot as well and just want to make sure it stays in good working order. We understand that problems may be encountered and we would encourage our guests to provide all the feed back they can so issues may be addressed. Last but not least we ask that fuel is refilled (propane and gasoline), other than that we want you to enjoy this thing and have an excellent glamping trip!
