Hello! My name is Andrew, and my wife Vivian and I will be your Outdoorsy hosts. We are an active-duty military family stationed in Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. I am an Apache attack helicopter pilot, and Vivian manages several rental properties in the area.
We both have degrees in Engineering, myself from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York, and Vivian from Rio de Janeiro State University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
We both love the outdoors and have owned several trailers over the years as we have moved from duty station to duty station.
We fell in love with travel trailers actually as guests on Outdoorsy, where we rented our first travel trailer for a weekend getaway. We loved the experience so much, it inspired us to become hosts ourselves and own our very own travel trailer.
We both have a background in hosting and providing 5-Star Experiences, with multiple rental property listings on Airbnb, VRBO, and Booking.com. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness and hospitality, however given we are only a couple with full time jobs and travel ourselves for both work and leisure, we do not offer 24/7 support. However, for instances where we cannot get back to you fast enough, Outdoorsy Customer Support is available 24/7 to meet your needs. Please keep us posted throughout your stay, as we want to ensure you are enjoying yourself at all times:)
Given my background in engineering/aviation/owning several trailers and rental properties over the years, I am a general handyman and am able to assist remotely via text/pictures with troubleshooting of any of the issues you may experience during your stay.
Your safety is our #1 priority, and we have multiple processes in place to ensure our trailer is road worthy, clean, and ready for your trip, no matter the distance!
We both speak English and Portuguese fluently and are conversational in Spanish. We always travel with our favorite companion and doggo, Daniel the Cocker Spaniel, who absolutely adores all things outdoors:)
We look forward to hosting you, and please private message us if you have any questions about our trailer or the great Pacific Northwest!!!
