Fern's a brand-spanking new teardrop to our family as of February 2022. We custom designed this Teardrop in 2021 around our needs & actively camp out as much as possible! This is NOT a bare-minimum made-for-rentals-only teardrop! Important: Fern’s lights/hookup are a 7pin plug! *not* a 4 pin.

Cabin sleeps 2-3 adults (Queen Sized Mattress), Rooftop tent sleeps 2-3 (Queen sized mattress pad), detachable Vestibule can sleep 2-3 (adds an enclosed Queen-Sized footprint for sleeping bags, or blowup mattress, etc).

Fern's Interior:
- Queen Mattress inside the cabin sleeps 2-3, (exterior vestibule adds additional enclosed queen footprint, too!) tons of pillows to keep it cozy! Linen everything for cool comfort.
- LOT's of storage. 5 storage cubbies that each holds weeks worth of clothes & Overhead storage cubbies - enough to store all of our electronics, books, and fun things we find on our camping trips! We've installed a lot of additional netting storage for ourhead + inside the cubbies & compartments.
- Lights & Power! Touch to turn on, touch to dim overhead lighting. Push overdoor lighting. (2) Overhead USB power ports, 2 USB's inputs each. Center Cubby in Cabinet has a 2-plug outlet that is usable with Shore power!
- Screened & Vented Windows, porthole windows. Deadbolt lock inside doors, handle and deadbolt lock exterior.
- Galley passthrough into kitchenette!
- 32 Speed, automatic water sensor, MaxxAir ceiling fan. fan will pull air in, push air out, and ventilate the cabin quite easily. Barely open one of the door screened windows & youve got a gentle wind tunnel of fresh, dry air.

Exterior:
-7 Gallon Solar-heated Road Shower - we'll make sure its charged for your trip! we use it to rinse off dishes.
-Large unfolding awning on Passenger Side
-7ft x 5ft Vestibule attaches to either doorway for additional queen mattress footprint (or 2-3 sleeping bags!), helps keep pets & younger kids contained!L
-Solar Charging panels to keep the battery charged!
-Toolbox filled with goodies, and extra storage.
- Rooftop Tent! Tent does not come with Linen’s provided, but it does have a permanent queen-sized camp mattress!

Kitchenette:
-Lots of storage. we've loaded enough food for 2 weeks, with room to spare.
-Dish storage rack - All dishes & cookware provided!
-Large Dometic Fridge/Freezer!
-Shore power plug - 50ft extension cord provided. Without Shore or Solar Power, all electronics ~10 days off-grid.
-Ranger II stove! hooks up to 2gal externally mounted propane tank (provided)

Recommendations

We've taken Fern all over - camping in the Rainy forests, Crabbing at the beach, and hiking through the desert. We've taken him all over Oregon, to this point!

Other things to note

Pet's welcome! Our dog & adventure cats love Fern! If bringing pets, we ask for honest confirmation of pet vaccinations - we'd prefer to not require proof, and appreciate your honesty. No Smoking, No heavy off-road (rock climbing, driving through rivers, lol), No festivals or tailgating - please use Fern as an adventure home! Above all, please respect Fern as if he was your very own! He's our pride & Joy, and we've worked really hard to have him - if you rent him, please do your best to leave him better than you got him!

Hello! I’m Christopher! Originally a Richmond, Va native now living in Oregon, I’m a small business owner, new experience lover, avid National-Parker (~25 so far!), and adventure dog/adventure cat dad! One of my favorite things to do is brave my way through National Parks at challenging times — hiking into the Grand Canyon during a blizzard, during a government shutdown, as an example. I love exploring the pop up towns & cities built at the feet of our country’s great outdoors, and I love to experience the food, drinks, and cultures at every mountain range between the Atlantic & Pacific. In 2021, my partner & I bought our first teardrop trailer, “Fern”, and have since fallen in love. We came to Outdoorsy to share Fern, in hopes that it gets other people into the open outdoors more frequently, without having to rely on weather, temperatures, or season.

We had a great time using Fern. Pickup process was super easy and trailer was well stocked. We would definitely rent again.

Fern was awesome! and so was Chris! We took Fern down to Indian Mary Campground in Merlin, OR, and spent the weekend floating on the Rogue River. Super easy to tow, and maneuver. Fern's mattress was super comfy, and the rooftop fan kept the cabin at perfect sleeping temperature. The big winner, however, was the kitchen! The dometic cooler was fantastic, as was the cook stove! There was ample storage for our family of four. I definitely recommend Fern and Chris! I'll definitely be back, if I don't buy one for myself!

Christopher was super helpful, very responsive to answer my questions. Outdoorsy is lucky to have him. Fern is as advertised, lots of extras not found on most rentals. I would rent from again and recommend to friends.

Fern was the perfect Teardrop trailer for us. Roomy sleeping area, lots of storage cubbies and loved the kitchen area. Christopher was excellent to work with and he made sure everything was set up, clean and ready to go when we picked up the trailer. I would absolutely rent from him again! This was our first trip to Crater Lake and first time camping in a Teardrop…both were excellent experiences.

I took Fern on an adventure to Glacier National Park. Chris was super helpful at check in and made sure that I knew how to get the most benefit from this beautiful teardrop trailer. The trailer tows easily and I was able to tuck away extra luggage and supplies inside. The kitchen is a wonder. The fridge keeps everything ice cold and the lid provides excellent respite from the elements. I am 6 ft 1 and 250, the bed was super comfortable and my wife had plenty of room as well. There is lots of handy storage. We were tempted to keep Fern and make our way to Mexico but instead returned with hopes of future adventures.
