2015 Palomino Backpack Edition
Truck: Leather seats (heated). 4 wheel drive. Sony AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth/USB/Aux.Camper: Plush queen bed. Twin bed. High-powered ceiling fan. Skylight. 2 burner gas stove. 3-way refrigerator/freezer. Inside and outside shower. Toilet. 13,000 BTU heater. Two (2) 25 lb. propane tanks. Remote control top with 360 views (very nice on a warm night when away from it all). Ceiling fan and skylight. What's includedSheets, blankets, pillows. Pots, pans, cups, plates, silverware, cooking utensils. Kettle. Ninja blender. Table. Chairs. Just bring food and your clothing and gear!RecommendationsVery important: book campgrounds in advance so you're guaranteed a spot each night. Though you can fall back on Walmart and other "big box" stores, we're sure you'd rather be among the pine trees! There are great online resources for statewide camping; call us if you want some suggestions. Take into account the drive time between each location, allowing plenty of time for spontaneous stops along the way. Other things to noteDogs welcome. Definitely no smoking. Sorry; we don't allow the camper to be separated from the truck. Bring clothes allowing for the season; though the rig has a great heater, night time temps at high altitude can drop 40 degrees or more from daytime temps.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Flexibility will be considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are flying in, Uber or Lyft
is the best option for us to meet. If you are in Colorado, I'll consider a driving distance of no more than 25 miles from Erie, Colorado
Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The rig is fairly simple to operate; we'll send the operating manual as a PDF before you arrive. We'll do a thorough run-through of all systems, what to do at a campground (water, power, etc.).
Q.What should we expect staying in a camper in the winter?
A.
It has a 13,000 BTU heater which is very effective. It is highly recommended that, just like the outdoors in winter, that you bring layers to sleep in to be cozy.
