2022 Winnebago Solis
***Available to rent in the winter although plumbing options may be limited (toilet generally useable but best to have power hookups available and use water jugs for drinking/washing etc.)
This 2022 Winnebago Solis 59PX sleeps 4... What other Class B camper van can do this? Great for families with children. Pop-up can sleep 2 adults or 2 children, and Murphy queen bed below sleeps another two comfortably. Four seats each of them with 3-point seat belts. Gas powered RAM Promaster can go anywhere your car goes, and fits in a regular parking spot... what I've found is that if a pickup truck can park there, the Solis can park there too.
2-burner gas cook top, fridge, and plenty of storage for your other items. I love it that you can access the fridge from inside the van as well as from outside the van. Back door 'garage' area has the outside shower hookup plus room to store your bikes and other items. There is also a 2 bike lockable bike rack attached to the back door (not in all pictures-recently added). Murphy bed in the back also folds up to provide even more room to take along whatever you like.
Bathroom is small, with a cassette toilet and shower. There is also an outside shower. This van was designed for boon-docking/off-the-grid camping - with solar charging for the batteries and a quiet gas generator to power the AC and outlets. There is also an inverter installed to run your laptop while on the road or even small appliances when your parked without the need to run the generator. Checkout the Solis 59PX videos on YouTube or Winnebago for all the features.
Truma hot water system works great. 20 gallons of fresh water tank and 20 gallon gray water tank (no black tank since it's a cassette toilet, which is allows you more flexibility in where you can dump it).
Bottom line, this van is less than a year old, in great condition, gets 15-18mpg, and is ready to go enjoy the national parks, lakes and campsites.
What's includedComes with basic cookware, dishes for 4, and utensils. Fitted and top sheets provided for each bed. Two camp chairs provided. There is a 2 bike lockable bike rack attached to the back door (not in all pictures-recently added). Cooler available upon request(no fee). Renter to provide blankets/sleeping bags, pillows and towels. Additional items may be available upon request such as grill, additional chairs, screen tent, bike rack, etc.(see add-ons). Just ask, and I may be able to help provide it. RecommendationsThere are so many great state parks throughout MN to hike, bike, kayak, swim, and just enjoy all this great state has to offer. Or head off to a further destination with the impressive fuel economy this rig has to offer. Other things to noteThis is a great camping/travel rig
Tailgating or music festivals are not allowed
Absolutely no smoking

Our trip from the Twin Cities to Little Sand Bay Campground on Lake Superior, near Cornucopia, WI, was awesome! And the rental was perfect. The owner, Don, is very personable and great to rent from! The RV was clean, serviced, and ready at pickup time, and Don's briefing was thorough and clear. As we are new to the RV world we had a lot to learn, but he was patient and his Solis 59PX worked perfectly with no issues. Returning the unit was hassle free and easy. Don was always available via text when we had any questions. We highly recommend him and his RV! Eric and Linda B.
