1967 Kit Companion
Wanda the 1967 travel trailer encourages us all to value the simple things in life! This sweet little trailer features a full sized bed that converts to a couch, a 4-person dinette that can also double as an extra bed, a bunk bed, a kitchen, and a closet for extra storage - all the things you need for an amazing weekend getaway. At only 15 feet long, she's easy to drive and park and pretty lightweight at around 2,000 lbs dry. She even has a "garage" in the back for extra gear! The kitchen has a 3 burner propane stove, a sink that can either be supplied by an external pressurized water source, or a manual foot pump with a 5 gallon fresh water tank, and a vintage built-in ice box cooler for food (not electric, it's more like a cooler!). The trailer is compatible with shore power (if you are at a site with hook ups), which is how you power the inside lights and the two outlets for charging phones. Otherwise, bring your own camping lanterns, flashlights and battery banks - and enjoy being away from the grid!!What's includedThe trailer comes equipped with pillows, sheets and lightweight blankets (bring extra if you're going somewhere below 40 degrees or so at night), 2 camp chairs, an awning, as well as cooking equipment, dishes and silverware, and a few extras. RecommendationsThere are so many cool places to choose from when looking for a getaway. We love the often overlooked Pawnee Grasslands, or going North to Vedauwoo, south into the San Louis valley, west into the mountains, or beyond! This trailer is perfect for making a comfy basecamp from which you can explore new sights.Other things to notePets welcome, but please be respectful to the trailer, Wanda's an ole' girl! (Especially the dinette and bed/couch cushions which have restored, original upholstery). I am happy to provide a few "pet blankets" to help protect surfaces and keep your pup cozy, just ask!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
If you need to change the pick up or drop off time please let me know in advance.
Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
The camper does not have a power source so be prepared to camp without power (bring your own lights, battery banks etc). If you go to a campsite with an electrical hook up, use the extension cord in the trunk to plug right into the side of the trailer. This provides power to the lights and 4 electrical outlets.
Water instructions provided with the camper. Greywater drains to an external bucket which must be emptied when full. No bathroom/black water
