2019 Ford Transit Extended ready for adventure
2019 Ford Transit Extended ready for adventure

Sage is a 2019 4x4, diesel, custom Sprinter. She is named after our late, beloved German wired hair pointer who loved to travel and be one with nature.
Sage features a full custom build, fully equipped with a propane stove-top and oven, galley sink with duel filtered drinking water, a queen-ish size bed (flare-sides to allow for side-to-side sleeping), propane heater, refrigerator/freezer, composting toilet, full solar power and invertor with AC/DC power options, TV/DVD combo (also an amazon prime stick), max-air ventilation, apple car play, swivel front captains chairs, and much more.
The idea behind Sage is give you freedom... to not be handcuffed to a hotel reservation. If you plan on skiing at Beaver Creek with your epic pass, but its dumping snow in Telluride, Crested Butte, or Salt Lake city... just go there! Don't worry about cancelling and changing reservations. If your plan is to get away from the snow, take a trip to Moab or California. The idea is to "just go"!
2 camping chairs, small outdoor camp table, pots and pans, cutlery, linens, hammock.
Fall - Crested Butte (via Kebler Pass), Taylor Park and Marina, Blue Mesa, Creed, Lake City, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, Dinosaur National Park, Yellowstone, Moab, Rocky Mountain National Park, Crestone Hot-Springs, Red Rocks.
Winter - Ouray Ice Park, Silverton, Wolf Creek, Telluride, Crested Butte, Salt-Lake City, Beaver Creek, Aspen, Vail, Glenwood Hot-springs, Moab, Jackson Hole.
Honestly there aren't really any rules... Take care of the van like it's your own and enjoy your time with her. Do some good exploring and enjoy the freedom to do what you want when you want to do it!

Renting this van couldn’t have been a better experience. Communication and explanation of the vans functions were great. Van was very well equipped with everything needed for my extended weekend in Moab. Thanks again!

The van drove wonderfully. The high clearance and four wheel drive would also make this van great for camping.
All the amenities worked well and gave us a lot of options to take advantage of.
Erik was also very helpful and great to work with!

Erik and Jamie were great hosts and most helpful. Erik went over all of the features thoroughly, and left the heaters, propane tank, and many useful items in the van to make the trip easy to complete without having to furnish the kitchen or sleeping area. The van was extremely clean with careful attention to detail. We had a smooth trip to California and back in winter, and we did not have any trouble with the vehicle or comfort or driving. The van was surprisingly easy to drive and handled fine in snowy conditions. I would definitely recommend Erik and his RV for a care free trip. As an added bonus, he was available by email and phone to answer questions about operations.
