2021 Dodge Promaster 2500
Squatchy is a 2021 Dodge Ram Promaster High Roof cargo van that was professionally converted into an RV by Alpin Van in July 2021. It's perfect for boondocking/dry camping as it comes equipped with solar and a 21 gallon water tank. Never pay for a campsite again!Squatchy has a raised platform bed with ample storage space underneath as well as a closet, cupboard, and above-bed and above-bench cabinets. It also features a large wood block countertop for cooking while enjoying the views and an inset gold stainless steel sink for washing dishes afterwards. Bench seating and a passenger swivel seat allow for easy dining. The bed inside the van is a Queen in width but not length. If you are tall or traveling as a couple, you may need to sleep slightly diagonally. I am 5'10'' and have traveled with someone who was 6'3''. It took some getting used to at first but ended up living out of the van for 6 weeks.Other specs:
- 2 x 100 watts solar panels
- 2000/4000 watts DC-AC inverter
- 2 x 100 AH AGM batteries
- 2 MaxxAir vent fans (one in front and one in back) for air circulation
- Dometic CRX-65 12 volt fridge & freezer
- Two flexible reading lights above the bed, each with a USB port
- Dimmable overhead LED lights
- Two outdoor porch lights
- Two 110 volt outlets
- Queen (shortened) Casper foam mattress
- Large garage/storage area w/ LED lightsWhat's included- Fresh linens, blankets and pillows
- Biodegradable soap/shampoo
- Utensils and cookware
- Electric hot water kettle
- Camping Colman 2-burner stove with propane
- Paper towels, trash bags, and washcloths
- Broom and dustpan
- Privacy curtain (hangs between cab and the rest of van)
- Magnetic privacy shades for windows in back
- Full 21 gallon water tank with hose for easy refilling during your trip
- Mr. Buddy portable propane heater for winter travel
RecommendationsVanlife allows you to see and experience SO MUCH without having to spend alot of money or time planning. I've stayed in some of the most gorgeous and remote places for free. My favorite apps for finding safe parking/camping spots are iOverlander and Campendium.Whether you want to travel around Southwest Colorado (Durango, Ouray, Telluride, etc.), explore Southern Utah (Moab is only 3 hrs away!), or take on the whole Western US, Squatchy will make a perfect home! Other things to notePlease no smoking in the van :)

Hello! Before settling down in beautiful Durango, Colorado in December 2021, I traveled in Squatchy for 6 months. My favorite places that I traveled to were Jackson Hole, WY/Grand Teton, Glacier Nat'l Park, Bellingham, WA, Bend, OR and Asheville, NC. I love the outdoors and am well versed at life on the road. I still like to take road trips whenever the mood arises to visit friends and family or go hiking, festival-ing or just sightseeing!

Squatchy was an awesome home for a week of exploring the San Juans. Very capable even with 2WD, we were able to go up to Owl Creek Pass, Cataract Gulch, South Mineral Campground, and Killpacker Meadows. Van was clean and the build was intuitive. Pickup and dropoff were both easy and Sherri offered some great local suggestions. Would definitely rent again!

My van broke down on a trip and I was in a bind. Sheri was more than accommodating and helped me get things back on the road. Camper was cozy and the storage was perfect.
