Pickup is from 3pm to 5pm. You are late at 5:01pm and may be accessed a late fee unless other arrangements have been made.Returns are due from 8am until noon. You are late at 12:01 and may be accessed a late fee unless other arrangements have been made.No smoking in the van.No frying of foods of any kind in the van that may leave odors. A 2 burner propane cook top is provided for the frying of foods outside. Violation of this rule could cost you your entire deposit.Use the convection cooking utensils only on the cook top in the van. They are not intended for the propane cook top or on the fire. Cast iron skillets and a Dutch oven are provided for that purpose.No climbing on the roof.We require the Renter purchase the Outdoorsy Damage Protection Plan that offers interior protection, in addition to the security deposit.You are responsible for any ticket, tolls and impounds. Even if the notice arrives after late fees and security deposit have been released.Tire damage is the responsibility of the Renter. If the Renter believes the damage is not due to negligence, the tire must be brought back for professional evaluation. Reimbursement is based on that result.If there is a mechanical failure or problem requiring roadside assistance, Renter should call the roadside assistance number provided by the insurer and alert the owner immediately. RENTER SHOULD NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE REPAIRS. Out of pocket expense for repairs required and which are not covered by insurance or roadside assistance will be reimbursed by the owner upon return of the vehicle as long as the owner is made aware prior to such repairs and receipts are provided.Renter is responsible for checking/maintaining engine oil level, tire pressure, and coolant levels. Cost due to negligence resulting in mechanical damage or tire damage will be the Renter's responsibility.Mercedez-Benz provides GPS for navigation. It is strongly advised you not rely on this system and use Google maps or some other

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Some renters have chosen to fly either directly to Santa Fe or Albuquerque. Pickup and drop off at the Santa Fe airport is relatively easy. The Albuquerque airport requires more coordination, but can be done. Time of day is not generally a problem, but it is better during daylight hours for the orientation.
