1.0I did a lot of research before choosing this RV. Based on the reviews, photos and setup, it appeared to be a great fit for a two-week cross-country trip with my two teenage boys. Unfortunately, our experience with the RV was disappointing. Prior to the trip, the host, Tim, was generally good about getting back to me when I had questions. However, when I asked about the awning—specifically whether it worked and whether it was automatic or manual—I did not receive a response. I reached out a second time about the awning and again did not receive a response. I also sent a message asking if I could come see the RV in person before our trip but did not receive a response to that request either. On the morning of our trip, we arrived at the pickup location listed on the Outdoorsy site, but the RV was not there. The location had changed since I booked, but I had not been notified. I received the correct address after messaging Tim. At pickup, I asked how the awning worked and was initially told that it did not work. Later, I was told that it had been disconnected. While doing the walkthrough of the RV, I was happy to see that it had an oven and mentioned that I had made a lasagna that I could heat in the oven rather than using the microwave. I was then told that the oven did not work either. While going over the different tanks and gauges, I was also told that the gauges were not accurate. I had not been made aware of any of these issues prior to pickup. When I opened the refrigerator, I noticed that the protective coating on the wire shelving was cracked and rusted, there was cracking along the bottom, and it had a strong, foul odor. Unfortunately, the smell remained throughout our entire trip. It’s smelled just as bad as it looks. Photos of the refrigerator’s condition are attached. Sadly, we experienced several additional issues with the RV during our two-week trip. Those matters are currently being addressed through Outdoorsy, so I don’t feel it would be appropriate to go into detail about them while that process is ongoing. We were able to complete our trip, but unfortunately, our experience with this RV was extremely disappointing and fell far short of what we had anticipated based on the listing. What should have been an exciting and memorable two-week trip was overshadowed by the number of issues we encountered with the RV.
