We looked at a lot of campers before building this one to meet our requirements. We lofted the queen size memory foam bed to allow the storage of mountain bikes and gear below and to avoid making the bed every day.
A small galley with fridge and sink is great for snacks. We use a propane camping stove for cooking. That way it's easy to cook outside if that is your preference.
There is a small slideout table with bench seats that work great for meals for two people.
No hookups required: Solar panels and house batteries power the ventilation fan, LED lights, and fridge with plenty to spare for charging all of your gadgets. There's even an inverter if you need to charge a laptop.
We've got a 15-gallon potable water tank that you can fill in most campgrounds.
There is a chemical toilet if you really need to pee.
There is even a diesel heater to keep things toasty on cold nights.************Covid-19 Stuff**************
The cleaning fee is mandatory between rentals now.
We recommend that you bring your own linens and pillows if possible. If not, let us know and we can provide a new sheet set for you.
We also recommend that renters bring their own silverware and kitchen utensils if possible.Cleaning details:
We are having the van professionally cleaned before each use with a company that uses a cleaner called BoiPledge. BioPledge AMP is an EPA-registered antimicrobial that provides quick killing action by molecularly bonding to treated surfaces and keeps on killing for up to 30 days without the use of harsh chemicals.

We built this van and used it to travel all over North America. We did this full time for a little over two years. We loosely planned our route based on the seasons, the best mountain biking locations, and special events with friends and family. Let us know if you are looking for mtb recommendations.
