Our Rustic Alaska Igloo is a very clean, low mile Class C RV and is perfect for a family or group. This RV will keep you comfortable even when the weather gets tough! You can sit outdoors in comfort even in the rain with the large awning. Inside is a furnace and an air conditioner that will keep you comfortable no matter what the temperature is outside! There is an entertainment center with a dvd player and audio in/out. Included is a couple dvds and books about the real Alaska.
The master "suite" and attached bathroom with shower are set up very comfortable and are spacious (for an RV). The "suite" has a closet with hangars and a set of drawers as well as a desk.
The kitchen/living room is well lit and has tons of storage inside cupboards and drawers. There is a double sink, stove top, microwave/oven with range hood. The refrigerator/freezer is stocked with a carton of our favorite ice cream and cones are in the cupboard! The counter has foldups at each end that really increase the counter space!
There is a fold out sofa great for a couple of kids. On each side of the table is a very comfortable "couch" and this all can turn into a bed for a couple kids or one small adult. Extra sleepers are welcome to camp out on an air mattress too. What's included We want to make sure your stay is comfortable so we include the following.
Rustic Alaska Decore
6 generator hours
unlimited miles
Foldout table, 4 camp chairs. Our kids are happy to sell you dry firewood at $10per bundle (4x normal)!
Clean sheets in the master "suite" along with towels and washcloths are included.
There are basic cooking utensils, pots, pans, coffee pot. Hand soap as well as dish soap are ready to go too.
We are happy to deliver the RV to the Fairbanks area with a rental of 5+ days for a cost of $150 to cover fuel.Recommendations In Fairbanks we recommend eating at the Salmon Bake, the Pump House or Pikes Waterfront Lodge. Neat things to do around Fairbanks are taking a look at Gold Dredge #8, Pioneer Park, or go to the East Ramp and check out all the small bush airplanes that come and go. The Riverboat Discovery is a lot of fun too! It's an old paddlewheel boat and you can take a ride back in time while traveling on the Tanana River and visiting some of the old log cabins!!
In Delta Junction we like to visit the Clearwater River Campground, Quartz Lake is fun with all the hiking trails. You might enjoy a flightseeing ride in a small bush plane too. For this we highly recommend Golden Eagle Outfitters (good friends of ours) who do an excellent job! It is just a short hop to take a flight into the mountains and get an up close look a glacier. Also, just south of Delta the Hwy winds through a mountain pass and there are a lot of hiking opportunities there and great scenery too!
Good places to eat in Delta are the Delta Brewery or the Buffalo Center Drive In.
Other things to noteNo smoking or pets please.
Please let us know if you plan to drive North on the Dalton Hwy towards the Arctic Circle.

My wife Adina and I live in Delta Junction, Alaska with our 8 kids ages 15 down to 2 1/2 months (May 2023). We enjoy doing as much as possible together and making memories outdoors. We enjoy going for boat rides, fishing, hunting and tent camping too. We have driven thousands of miles together in RV's in the "lower 48" and here in Alaska!
We own and operate Clearwater Alaska Outfitters and enjoy working together to provide quality hunts with integrity here in Alaska. We specialize in hunting moose and hunt for grizzly, black bear and wolves too. We have operated this business together for the past 17 years and have lots of experience in the hospitality industry.

Ben and Adina were terrific to work with. Made the entire process very simple, even when we were running behind for pickup due to airport issues! I would definitely work with them again.

Ben & Adina were excellent hosts! They were both very willing to answer any questions that we had before & during our trip & checked in on us to be sure we were having a great experience. The RV worked wonderfully & drove smoothly. We had 4 adults, so we bought a twin air mattress that fit nicely on the floor after expanding the living area. We all slept very comfortably. We loved all of the big windows that provided the views of the breathtaking landscapes in Alaska. We bought 6 giant bundles of wood that their son cut & fit in a storage compartment. Lots of storage there too-inside & out. The spruce was a wonderful, long-lasting burn in a campfire. There were plenty of pots & pans to make our meals & a french press for coffee. We bought a couple coffee mugs, which doubled as souvenirs, as most of the cups & utensils are plastic. Overall, we had an amazing Alaskan adventure & we highly recommend renting this RV from Ben & Adina!

This was our first time using an RV, and it was amazing! We would definitely recommend this as a great way for families to see different parts of Alaska. We were able to use it in campgrounds with and without hookups, and we were able to fit in everything that we needed. Ben and Adina were wonderful hosts-- responsive to questions, helpful, and welcoming. Thank you so much for the fantastic experience.
