Frequently asked questions
Q.
What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Our standard pick-up time is 3:00 PM and our standard drop-off time is 11:00 AM. If you’d like a little extra time on either end of your trip, we do offer early pick-up or late drop-off for a small additional fee. These options are subject to availability, so we recommend arranging them in advance to guarantee your preferred times.
Q.
Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Yes! Our RV is equipped with an automatic leveling system. When you arrive at your campsite, be sure to: Park in a flat area. Have everyone exit the RV before using the Auto Level function. Press the Auto Level button—the four stabilizing jacks will automatically extend to level and steady the RV. Always complete the leveling process before opening the slide-out to avoid damage or misalignment. Following these steps will ensure a smooth setup and a stable, comfortable RV during your stay.
Q.
How do I use the generator properly?
A.
To make sure the generator starts and runs smoothly: Before starting the generator, turn both the main AC and the bedroom AC OFF. If either AC unit is on, the generator will not start. Once the generator is running, you can use only one AC unit at a time. Running both at once while on generator power will overload it and cause it to shut down. Following these steps will help prevent power issues and keep your trip cool and comfortable.
Q.
How do the electric hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric Hookup: Locate the campground’s power pedestal. Plug the RV’s power cord into the pedestal outlet that matches our RV’s power rating 50-amp. Make sure the breaker is switched OFF before plugging in, then turn it ON once connected.
