I have always loved the ocean and everything that lives in it! My career passion was to become a marine biologist and work with dolphins. Growing up in Ohio didn't offer much opportunity to work with marine life but it's where I developed my love for fishing. After serving in the U.S. Coast Guard, I graduated from the Univ. of Michigan. After decades of cold, icy winters, my family decided to move to Myrtle Beach a little over a year ago. If I'm not on the pier fishing or lounging on the beach, then I'm probably sharing my love for marine life by teaching middle school students how cool and important our oceans are and how small changes can have a big impact.
