Like Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, I found "Braxi" to be "just right" for my RV Adventuring needs: not too big (or small) and not too fancy (or minimalist), but somewhere nicely in the middle.Whether your plans are "roughing it" off-grid, enjoying a Full-service RV camp with all the extras, or maybe you just need a short-term extra air-conditioned private space/bedroom outside a home, Braxi might be a great fit!Common to all 3 scenarios would be spending more time Outside the camper than inside it. Her larger tires provide better-than-usual ground clearance and smaller overall size really make her a good for many uses!My goal is for you to have an excellent and reasonable-cost adventure with my rig. So, please see my extensive list of "extras" in the additional notes.I'd be happy to deliver and setup Braxi if your destination is within ~60miles from Conway, NH! If it's just a little further than that, but you really like what Braxi and I are offering, please message me and I'll consider exception. Some operational notes - Pros/Cons:
-Awning requires a manual setup and guy lines to stakes (included), tree branches or whatever + is much easier to deploy with 2 people + is a Huge plus if there will be rain during your trip - just be sure you adjust the heights right to run the water where you want it and tighten down those lines!
- 1900# empty weight, so most v6 engines can handle this, 2" ball req'd, + as long as you have a 2" square receiver slot, I can outfit your rig w/ the right ball hitch, plus I have 4-pin converter (from 7-pin) if needed
- A/C (5000 BTU) and Microwave need 120v power from your site or a generator, but everything else will run on the 12v camper battery or propane
- Fridge is small "dorm size" and does NOT have a freezer
- HOT Water - 6 gal tank, runs on either Propane or Electricity
- Radio (AM/FM/Bluetooth/Aux ports) has 2 speakers
- Coat Hooks (x2) in shower provide awesome place to hang wet items if you have to deal with rain!
What's includedNEW for '24! GENERATOR (inverter) included at no extra cost, super quiet and dual fuel (propane or gas)If you're tall:
(like me at 6'2") you'll appreciate being able to stand straight up (with shoes off!) inside w/o hitting your head or slouching over AND you'll sleep well as the bed is 6'3" wide! That's not possible with all comparable sized small campers.
In trying to keep costs down:
A) please bring your own LINENS, PILLOWS, and such - Bed is equivalent to Queen size
B) I want to avoid lots of "add on" fees for you, so instead I offer any OR all of these "extras" at NO CHARGE available upon REQUEST, as long as we can agree that any damage to, or loss of, them would be "covered" by the deductible. Anything you don't want I'll simply keep at home to not clutter the camper!
OPTIONAL EXTRAS:
a) MATTRESS TOPPER - softens the bed as seat cushions are on firm side, but downside is it takes up a lot of space when you convert back to table/seating mode. So can work well if you'll store it in your car when not in use OR - just leave the seating backrest in down position and roll up the topper to serve as the backrest.
b) CART - folds down nicely and stores in trunk
c) CAMP CHAIRS (x2)
d) "Starter" Consumables: few rolls TP (only RV-friendly TP allowed in toilet please!!) + few rolls paper towels + small bottle of dish soap
e) PROPANE - one 20# tank (we'll verify actual fill level before trip)
f) FRESH WATER - I typically FILL the 21 gal. tank before delivery/pickup, but let me know if you prefer it empty.
g) WATER CONTAINERS - 1gal (glass) and 5gal (plastic), use for potable water only please, nothing else
h) Fresh water Hoses (25' and 50') - used to connect "city water" at sites
i) Wheel chocks - x2 sets, plastic
j) Power Cord - 30ft long, 120v electrical hookup for camper w/ surge protection piece and household 120v plug adapter (in case needed)
Also available if requested:
1) KITCHEN KIT (see pics) - list of cookware, plates, glasses, utensils, etc.
2) TV w/ HDMI and other connections, 23"
3) Waste Water dump hoses (x2) w/ caps and fittings - I don't include these unless you have it long enough that you'll need to empty the tanks
4) SOLAR Panel - 100W, large 1 piece, to recharge 12v camper battery or other items, but NOT needed at any site w/ electricity provided
5) Backup Camera DISPLAY for dash of tow vehicle - camera is built into the license plate frame and Bluetooth connects to the dash display
RecommendationsREMINDERS:
1) Bring your own linens, pillows, blankets, etc - Bed size is equivalent to Queen.
2) If you get "off road" - please be careful of ALL clearances - both above and below! It's all too easy to clip a tree branch... speaking from experience
There is no charge for the short list of "Starter Consumables" that I'll include to get your trip started. However, if you need more TP, please be sure to purchase "RV-friendly" type that easily breaks down or it may clog the tank!! It is available at most grocery stores and WalMart. Also, paper towels can NOT go in the toilet, please - put them in the trash can that I provide. If you choose DELIVERY of the camper, you'll simply book your campsite of choice (with 15ft-long trailer spot or greater and if water and electricity as well, all a plus for you) and just tell me the site#, reservation date window, name of camp and when we can meet there in person to go over the basics. I'll do all the rest and have it all set up and ready for you to enjoy!DUMPING - if you don't fill the gray and black tanks, then you do NOT need to empty them. I will take care of that for you. However, if you have a longer trip where you'll likely need to empty the tanks at some point, we will review the procedure in person and I'll include the needed equipment, which is stored in the trunk.
Other things to noteNO SMOKING inside the camper or tampering with the smoke detector, please!!I've set the DEDUCTIBLE as-is because I'm allowing "pets" and frankly offering quite a lot of "extras" for no extra fees. It is meant to cover ANY damage beyond normal "wear and tear" to the camper itself or any of the extra items that you select from those offered.I'll provide a checklist that we review in person before handover of the camper and contents that we'll use for inventory purposes, of which you'll get a copy. Whether you choose all, some or none of my "EXTRAS," the cost will be the same as calculated by Outdoorsy.Upon return of the camper and contents I reserve the right to a 24hr inspection period to check for damages and account for all "extras."If no damage is found and all items are present, there will be a prompt 100% refund of Deposit. If damage is found (to the camper or any extra item) or any items are missing, reasonable replacement or repair cost(s) will be deduced from the Deposit. Some examples of "damage" include:
- Fire Extinguisher not in unused/new/sealed condition, it is for Emergency use only please, replacement fee will be charged if it has been used for non-emergency purpose not involving a camper-related fire.
- Any damage caused by "Pets", i.e. soiled cushions, torn screens, heavily scratched or chewed flooring, doors, cabinets, etc.
- Any damage resulting from improper use and/or unauthorized alterations made by the renter to any of the appliances in the camper
- Anything aside from normal human waste and RV-friendly toilet paper that ends up in the Black tank and requires extra measures to extract and empty the tank
Some examples that are NOT considered damage:
- returning a wet tent because you had to pack up in the rain, I understand it can happen
- somebody lost a fork or two, broke a plate, etc... no biggie, we'll call that normal wear and tear

Meet your host, Chuck

I bought "Braxi" brand new from a dealer in 2021 after selling my house in the Portland, ME area and buying my next home in Conway, NH. I initially used the camper to have a place to stay a few nights a week for my job in the Portland area, but that need is gone as I've since left that job. Braxi's been on a few local trips and one longer one down south for a week+, but lately she's mostly been sitting in the yard not being used, except at times when friends visit - or I take a trip or two each year. I keep her very clean and cover the pads with blankets when I've had my dogs in there. They've never marked in there and I hope to keep it that way. I know how important my dogs are to me, so I'm willing to take the chance and let others have their dogs in it as well. Trusting of course that their owner/you will be responsible for them and help me keep it pristine. Thank you for considering renting Braxi and let me know what I can do to help make your trip trouble free and memorable! All the best! Your next adventure awaits...

First time camper renter, and we couldn’t have been happier! Chuck was super friendly, responsive, and the camper was impeccably clean. The bed was comfy, and the a/c worked great too. If we ever vacation again in NH, we’d definitely rent Braxi again!!

Chuck’s answer

Thanks so much - you guys were great! Glad the pups were comfy as well!

Fantastic trip! Chuck was really down to earth, thorough and easy to work with. Made the whole process smooth and easy. Great for first timers and experts alike. Thanks Chuck!

Chuck’s answer

My pleasure and thank you for being great renters, returning her spotless and even teaching me a few things I didn't know about Braxi! Thought I had replied to this right after you sent it, but noticed today my comments weren't here/public.
