There are also 2 folding cloth "boxes" to hold personals/clothes under the bed. Either an electric blanket or down comforter or small space heater. RecommendationsThis is a soft sided clam shell type pop up, heated only by a space heater and/or electric blanket. Therefore, we recommend setting up the camper in a garage or other covered/enclosed building. The space heater will keep the camper warm enough but if you breathe (and we hope you do) condensation will form. The space heater will help maintain a low but constant temperature outside the camper which should make the electric blanket inside the camper enough warmth. We use the floor space beside the full bed to set up our porta-potty. Other things to noteAdd-ons, with an additional charge, include a porta potty, bed linens, solar lanterns, water storage, space heater, electric blanket, down comforter, etc. We also have more travel items such as a camp "kitchen", tabletop items, trailer awnings, and more....

Frequently asked questions

Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

A.

The return time of 10 AM is necessary since the trailer has to be readied for the next guest with a potential check in time of 4 PM. Checkout and breakdown and check in and set up of the trailer components will take at least 1 hour, depending your options. Pickup or delivery of the trailer must be after 4 PM but at least 1 hour before dark. We expect that a mutually agreeable time can be found when we set appointments for both arrival and departure.

We are a semi-retired professional couple who love to travel. Every year since 2014 we have journeyed at least once coast to coast, mostly in our Prius. In late September of 2016 we bought our first RV, a used 33' Holiday Rambler Presidential, which instantly served as our home-away-from-home. We store it in Idaho Falls, ID for the winter and have it hauled to near Yellowstone National Park for the season. When not staying in it, we rent it out. In January of 2017, we purchased a new 23' Gulfstream Vintage Cruiser as an investment to rent out, which we did for two years, setting it up in a site adjacent to our Presidential near Yellowstone and storing it for the winter in Idaho too. (BTW, when we are traveling, we AirBnB out our home in Concord, NH.) That's what we did, anyway, until this pandemic year, which forced us to alter our plans for the foreseeable future. One consequence of the COVID-19 was deciding to sell our Vintage Cruiser this spring. So, instead of driving out west this spring, we're staycationing close to home in New Hampshire. To this end, we picked up a used ultralight camping trailer, a Lees-Ure Lite Excel. With an axle weight of 265 pounds, it's light enough for our Prius to tow. This is the RV we are offering through Outdoorsy. When on the road, we explore, especially natural areas where we watch wildlife and hike. Because we do love food, we're always on the lookout for local restaurant gems, particularly bar-b-que. We've discovered some wonderful places to eat and will deliberately map out our route to bring us to those spots, or we may simply drive off route to get to one. BTW we are happy to share our finds and hidden treasures to anyone interested. Another pastime is ballroom dancing. So we're frequently on the lookout for places to dance and have planned our itinerary more than once based on where and when we could get back out onto the dance floor. We were avid hikers and adventure seekers until this year when each of us had some knee or back issues :( Hopefully we can return to our adventures soon!
