RecommendationsWe are only 8.9 miles from the newly-renovated Jellystone Campground Resort in Larkspur, Colorado so if you do not want to pull an RV anywhere we can deliver for a nominal fee. A little further South we have Garden of the Gods, Great Sand Dunes National Park and the Royal Gorge. Rocky Mountain National Park, Chatfield State Park and River Run RV resort are also not far. We are a short distance to all that Colorado has to offer. Many mountain communities are well within a days drive from our location.Other things to note-For the enjoyment of all guests we are a 100% no smoking of any kind.
-Trailer requires a 7 prong trailer brake hookup. Please ensure that your towing vehicle has this already installed.
-No Pets unless discussed and approved by owners as we have already had prior damage due to a dog being left alone while its owners were out having fun.
-Remember to check for any fire bans in the location that you are camping. The portable gas fire pit is always an option if a wood burning ban is in place.
-Must add the generator as an optional add on if you want to include a generator with your rental.
-The delivery fee only accounts for one way mileage which is why we have it set at $6 per mile. We only charge $3 per mile round trip.
-If you are dry camping and do not dump your waste a mandatory $140 dump charge will be added. If you choose to dump yourself you must connect a hose to the black tank flush when dumping and run the water until the water is clear. A see through dump elbow is provided so you can ensure that this is done.

Meet your host, Terry

Living in Colorado we love the outdoors. The mountains are such a stress reliever and we try to get up to them as much as our busy schedules allow. Our kids are heavily involved with sports so time for that is limited these days. Our favorite camping trips have been anywhere is Colorado, Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore and Lake Powell.

Our family had a great time camping with this trailer. We’d definitely rent it again for a future trip. Terry was always quick to respond and was great to work with. Thank you!!

2nd time renting this rig and will likely be back again if we don’t purchase the exact same model. Kids loved the bunks, the new awning was great to beat the heat and everything looks and works great!

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are flexible, please just communicate with us so we are available.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
We provide the cable connectors for both 30 and 50 amp connections for electric. Water is hooked up with the provided hose, pressure regulator and filter to the water bib at your site. If you are off grid camping then you will want to fill up the fresh water tank and ensure that the water pump is on. The sewer hookup hose is located in the back bumper of the camper. Additional hookup items for the sewer hose are located in a plastic container in the back storage compartment.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
You will want to make sure that all steps are folded in prior to travel. Also, the bathroom vent fan must be in the closed position so that it is not ripped off by high winds from traveling. Tires are equipped with tire pressure gauges for each tire. If they are green then the tire pressure is good. If they are red then the tires need air.

Q.How do I adjust the sway control for the receiver hitch
A.
There is a large Allen wrench that is provided to tighten (high winds) or loosen the sway control. Please make sure that we go over this when picking up the camper.
