There is absolutely no shortage of incredible things to do outside in and around San Clemente. Once you get your San Clemente motorhome rental, head to the San Clemente Pier. You can wander out onto the pier and marvel at the ocean views as the surfers navigate the waves. Bring your fishing rod and gear and cast a line into the beautiful blue water. When you get hungry or thirsty you can stop at one of the nearby restaurants or cafes. The San Clemente Coastal Trail, which runs for a couple of miles along the coast, is a popular stop for both tourists and locals. The midpoint of the trail is the San Clemente Pier. Spend an afternoon walking the trail, or rent bikes if you prefer. If you enjoy surf, sun, and sand, definitely check out San Clemente State Beach. The beach runs along by the pier. You’ll see people walking and jogging along the sand just about any time of the year. This beach is good for surfing so it is rocky and the waves are powerful but the highlight here is the view. You can even enjoy some bonfires in the evening at a few designated spots. Once you rent an RV, take it north and a little inland to Limestone Canyon Regional Park in about an hour. This park is perfect for hikers and bikers due to their extensive trail system. Be sure to visit “The Sinks”, a geological formation often called a mini Grand Canyon. While navigating through the park, you’ll also come across diverse plants and wildlife habitats throughout the park so don’t forget your camera.
