What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We offer early pick up and late drop off options for an additional fee. Please feel free to ask if your trip requires additional accomodations. We are happy to try to find a solution that works for all!
Q.
Do I need prior camping experience to rent this RV?
A.
Prior experience is always helpful. We prefer that guests have some level of experience both camping and driving larger vehicles. Small issues are frequent with RVs, boats, etc. so it's always best to not be in a hurry, be patient, and remember that in almost every instance, everything will be ok! :)
Q.
How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Most campgrounds will include electrical hook up. If you do not have water hook up on site, you will need to fill the fresh water tank beforehand. If you don't have sewer hook up, the gray and black tanks will hold everything until you dump the tanks when you depart. We recommend using water sparingly if you don't have full hook ups and will be staying longer than three days at a single location.
Q.
When do I have to run the generator?
A.
Using the generator is only necessary when you are not plugged in to electrical and you need to use things like the A/C, microwave, or TV. House lights and certain electrical outlets are available at all times, using the dedicated 12V house battery. If the weather is very warm, you may need to run the generator while driving to keep the RV cool. The refrigerator runs on electrical when plugged in, and on propane when not plugged in, so the generator is not necessary to run the refrigerator.
