Fully equipped ultralight weight towable trailer for your camping enjoyment. The trailer has a modular living system with a full size bed, bunk beds for two kids, kitchenette and table. Pet friendly! We are back for another year! Big changes this year are that we've lowered the daily rate by moving the provided amenities to optional add-ons. The camp kitchen, kitchenette, linens, extra tent and extra room are now all available as add-ons.We've also adjusted prices to encourage longer bookings as that is the best way to enjoy the camper! The trailer itself can be towed by almost any vehicle with a hitch (1100lbs base weight). When power is available, the unit has an AC and small heater. Two awnings, and a breakfast bar/table attachment make outdoor living fun and styling. The rear door opens up so you can enjoy the outdoor air during the day. Windows have screens and shades. Chairs (4), and one-pot style cooking equipment are supplied and everything is cleaned between uses.Locals... Brookline/Boston/Newton etc... Happy to drop off trailer, in an off-street or properly permitted on-street location, the night (or two) before your trip if mutually agreeable. You can take your time loading up your bikes, clothes, groceries in the back, hookup and go! Tell the town parking office its a moving trailer!

RecommendationsAfter booking we will work with you to make sure you have your plans set for a good time. If you wish we are happy to help you find the perfect camping spot in the New England area. Consider Wolfe's Neck Farm in Portland Maine, its our favorite spot. Most importantly we will also help you plan the route out to the campground and route back.Other things to noteThe camper is dog friendly but you may not take the camper to music festivals, off-roading and Conan O'Brian is absolutely not welcome. We strongly discourage leaving the Boston area on a Friday afternoon, and try to avoid coming back to Boston area at 12-3pm on a Sunday. If you are a new driver of towable trailers we recommend leaving mid-week or Sunday, or early in the day.

The spark behind Boston Camps came after meeting up with some friends at the park. It was towards the end of the summer and we were recounting our summer adventures. After mentioning our various camping trips we heard a familiar refrain… “We should do that, but I haven’t camped in ages”. We will be creating and posting content to to help families navigate camping in New England. Feel free to checkout our listings, we've attempted to translate our experiences into a great, rentable and preconfigured towable trailer. Happy camping!

James was so helpful and friendly. The camper was great and we had a fantastic time camping with it. Looking forward to hopefully taking it out again next year!

So much to say, so few characters! This rental was awesome. From pickup to drop off James was great about showing me all the features and hookups. The process was smooth and our enjoyment was through the roof. A very comfortable, well-designed unit it had everything we needed. Navigating the roads was even easier than I hoped and we slept soundly next to Lake Winnipesaukee in NH. The many windows gave us a nice breeze we didn't even need the A/C. It accommodated my wife and I along with our 12 yo 115 lb Lab, he loved that he could stretch out on the floor right next to us. I highly recommend this rental to anyone curious about trying a towed RV for a glimpse into the life, we'd rent it again in a heartbeat. Also, a really fun thing was the curiosity and interest of passerby's where we parked. So many people asked where we got it, what was the inside like, how was it to sleep in. I wished I had flyers to pass out! James - thanks again for helping us have a very memorable weekend!

Rented for a quick day trip. Super easy to hook up and tow. 2 small kids love the bunk. Came with everything needed for a relaxing trip with the family. I specifically needed the AC to keep the wife and kids happy campers and it didn't disappoint.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What is included with the base camper?
A.
The camper comes with the bed, bunk beds, storage cubes, 2-top table for inside, (2) 1-top table (1-) outdoor base for table. One of the cubes doubles as a cooler (very insulated). We include a 50ft 30amp electrical cable with 15amp adapter (for standard outlets). LED lights are available when on shore power. [New 2023] We include an area carpet for the side of the camper, and a rear mat for behind the door.

Q.Whats up with the kitchenette?
A.
Happier Camper makes a great kitchenette built on top of the cube system you'll find in the camper. It has an RV sink (dometic) can use city water, or pump from a 5-gallon tank, has extendable tables on the side. It's great for when you need to have the ability to cook inside the camper and only have 1 or 2 people in the camper. Perfect for extended roadtrips. It is generally too heavy to remove frequently, and is out-performed by the full camp kitchen.

Q.Can I use this for driveway camping (guest room)
A.
You are free to use this for driveway camping or as an extra room! We are happy to drop-off locally (about 20 minutes from Boston area (e.g. Boston, Brookline, Newton, Cambridge). If you are going to tow it yourself please make sure you have all the necessary equipment.

Q.Can I use this for events / weddings / photos
A.
Of course! Please reach out with details, especially on timing for pickup / drop-off. Please expect a 300 to 400 minimum quote for single-day rentals as we blend the cost of our time to prepare / clean trailer into longer rentals.
