Meet your host, Kari

Member since 2021

I was born and raised in Montana and it has always been my favorite playground. I grew up a couple hours from Yellowstone National Park and it is still one of my favorite places to go. I am a solo traveler but always have at least one of my dogs with me. I love seeing new places and having new experiences and the freedom my van has given me is simply amazing.

Wow. Great experience in Yellowstone. This camper van was perfect for our family of four vacation. We we able to sleep comfortably, two up and two down. The small refrigerator was able to keep our weeks supply of food nice and fresh. We also rented the cooler for drinks and ice. The combo was perfect. The refrigerator works when you are unplugged. Solar and battery. The van had a 400 mile range and was good on gas. It has hot and cold water. Toilet and shower. So, we would leave our camp in the morning after a great breakfast cooked in the van. On the road we would cook lunch at any stop we wanted. We never had to look for a bathroom. The van handled great in the windy mountain roads. I was able to take it down roads where rv's were not aloud. kari the owner was great. She brought the van to us at the airport. She added coffee, tea, creamer, bottled water and tasty deserts. She picked the van up from the airport. She was awesome. Thanks for a great trip. Rob and family

We are campers and road trips travelers, but this 9 day Yellowstone and Grand Teton trip was different because we took 5.5 year old & 2.5 grandchildren. Renting a camper was the perfect idea. This specific one is beautiful, super cool, a top notch, fully equipped, comfortable and easy to get around with. Kari is great! She made sure we had everything we needed for the road, answered all questions and provided us with detailed instructions of use and navigate all the necessary and luxury equipment. She did not hesitate to rent the vehicle to travelers with little boys😊and welcome them with gifts bags. Delicious cheese, crackers and … it was a great surprise for us. Kari, thank you for making our trip extra special.

Renting this RV was an incredible experience from start to finish. Kari was exceptionally friendly and communicative, answering all my questions promptly. The RV itself was beautifully maintained, spotless, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable trip. Despite my initial nerves about driving a larger vehicle, Kari's thorough walkthrough made it easy to handle, and it drove smoothly on both highways and winding roads. Perfect for a trip to the Yellowstone! Operating the RV was surprisingly simple, with intuitive controls and straightforward instructions for all its features. The convenience and comfort of this RV allowed me to fully enjoy the stunning Yellowstone scenery, making my adventure unforgettable. Highly recommend!

The van and Kari were great. Not a single thing was missed or broken and the van was perfectly clean. Would look to rent from Kari on the next trip for sure. The Bison of Yellowstone liked the van as well ;) - see photo

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
I will try my best to work with you. If you have special requests or last minute flight changes, etc., let's talk and see what we can come up with.

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric hook up is super simple. and is the one thing I do enjoy having. It is not possible to leave the water hooked up to the van unless you have the back door open. I always fill my van to take advantage of the water, I just don't leave it hooked up. You only have a gray tank to worry about, so all the water from the sink and shower. You can hook this up but what I usually do is empty as needed. Your cassette toilet can be emptied as needed as well.

Q.How long can I boondock or dry camp?
A.
It honestly depends. If it's sunny the solar panel will help keep the battery charged or you can run the engine to charge. I camp a lot in campgrounds that don't have hook ups. I take advantage of what is there like outhouses, sometimes water. Your propane will last a long time without the heater. Water will last a long time if you conserve.

Q.Can you give me suggestions on where to go? Things to do?
A.
I would love to help with suggestions if you are uncertain on your plans. Feel free to reach out and we'll see what we can come up with.
