Want to try overlanding or just want an easy to drive camper to explore Montana? This 4x4 Jeep is a cool copper color, seats 5, and has a large 4 person rooftop tent. The camping outfit makes it a great vehicle for exploring around Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, or even Glacier National Park. The Jeep is regularly serviced by the dealer and has new tires. What's includedThe SmittyBilt roof top tent sleeps 4 and has a high-density 92" x 75” foam extra long full width mattress. We include bedding with pillows or optional lightweight sleeping bags. The tent includes a heavy-duty waterproof top and rain fly, vestibule area over the ladder, sunroof, side windows with mosquito netting, sturdy ladder, and interior LED light strip. It is easy to set up and take down even with one person. We also have an annex available as an add on.In the Jeep is a slide out kitchen kit with a 45 liter Yeti Tundra cooler. The kitchen includes a Camp Chef Everest 2 Burner Stove with two one pound cans of propane. Cookware is a GSI Summit set with pots for the stove and an additional Camp Chef griddle. All the little cooking odds and ends are included like a GSI coffee percolator, insulated mugs, dinnerware, chef knives, cutting board, cooking utensils, salt and pepper grinders, assorted seasonings, and a collapsible sink with soap for washing up.We also include four camping chairs and a roll up camp table for undeveloped campground use.For mobile power we include a Jackery portable power station with solar panel that can charge cameras, phones, or small 110v devices. For light we have included a Goal Zero camp lantern.Lastly for safety we include bear spray and a fire extinguisher with all our rentals.Contact us for a comprehensive list of all included equipment.RecommendationsWith all the National Parks and National Forests near Bozeman there are options for every kind of camping. Spend a night or two in the tent and grab a night at Chico Hot Springs to relax in the pool. Or you can do the tour of Grand Teton, Yellowstone, and Glacier with stops at quaint Montana towns along the way. We personally like the Pioneer Mountain Scenic Byway close to Idaho and the Seeley Swan headed toward Glacier. With the complete kitchen you can cook really nice meals in camp rather than just burgers and brats. Try kabobs or make a campfire pizza on the griddle. We like jambalaya with premade rice.Other things to notePlease note that while this Jeep does have 4 wheel drive we limit the vehicle to paved and dirt roads.Remember that all of Montana is bear country and some campsites have rules restricting use to hard sided campers. And since we need to have the Jeep food fragrance free to not attract hungry wildlife, the stove in the pull out kitchen is removable when you cook those really aromatic recipes such as Thai or bacon.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with this rental! The vehicle was in great condition and the rooftop tent made our 4-night stay in Yellowstone both comfortable and memorable. Sleeping under the stars with the convenience of everything we needed right on top of the car was perfect for exploring the park. Gary and Cyndi were fantastic—very communicative, helpful, and organized. They provided a wealth of resources, from gear to guides, which made our trip smooth and stress-free. You can tell they really care about making sure their guests have a great experience. Highly recommend this setup for anyone looking for an adventurous yet cozy way to explore the outdoors. We’d absolutely rent again!

Gary was very quick to reply to my questions before and during the rental period. Very thorough with the check-in, checkout and demo of tent setup. Our family had a great time at the National Parks for 10 days. Extremely satisfied with his excellent service. Highly recommend.

Everything we needed and more! Rooftop tent was easy to assemble and pack away each night. Jeep rode well and was comfortable for driving around all day throughout Yellowstone. Would use them again!

Rules and policies
We sincerely hope that you enjoy your trip with one of our vehicles; however, we do have certain rules in place to safeguard both ourselves and our valued customers. The individual who made the reservation, the renter, must be physically present at the time of pickup and undergo driver verification. Additional drivers are certainly welcome if they pass verification, but complications might arise with the insurance if the renter is not verified. The renter is required to have the app installed on their phone and must maintain connectivity both before and throughout the rental period. The app is essential for verifying the renter's identity and for approving insurance coverage. Additionally, should any issues arise, Outdoorsy will solely communicate with the renter. For international renters, we recommend obtaining a SIM card or an international phone plan that includes data. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the owners to assess and approve guests' itineraries to ensure that they align with the standards stipulated in the insurance policy. Put simply, the insurance does not cover damages resulting from off-roading, which can be interpreted as straying from established campsites. Consequently, we may request comprehensive details about your trip, including your itinerary and accommodations. If you are unable or unwilling to provide this information, we may choose not to release the vehicle to you upon pickup. Any non-collision body damage or damage not covered by insurance, such as dents, scratches, and lost or damaged equipment, will be deducted from the security deposit. Extraordinary cleaning requirements, like carpet cleaning due to spills, will be assessed based on the time and equipment necessary. Permanent damage to bedding, such as stains or tears, or damage to other equipment, will incur charges equal to the replacement cost, which will be deducted from the deposit. Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited in our vehicles due to the additional cleaning it necessitates. In the event that a vehicle carries a strong smoke odor, aside from campfire smoke, a cleaning fee of $150 will be applied, along with any lost revenue resulting from the extended cleaning duration. Lastly, our vehicles are not authorized for towing purposes except when utilizing our designated addons.
