VEHICLE USE AND RULES:
• This Campervan is a low-clearance, Front Wheel Drive vehicle. It does not have 4-wheel drive or high-clearance, thus you should only drive under appropriate conditions. Rough, high-clearance, off-road conditions ("jeep roads" & “forest service roads”) are not allowed (& you won't have the clearance and will have expensive repair bills). Any damage from driving inappropriate roads will be your responsibility.
• One of the best things about this Campervan is that it is not a bulky, wide, long, or especially hard to maneuver RV. However, we suggest you take some time at the beginning of your trip to acquaint yourself with driving the vehicle. It is easier to drive on switchbacks and narrow mountain roads than a traditional RV, yet still takes some adjusting to (note: easier is not always easy!) While you will have 24-hour roadside assistance from Outdoorsy, this is applicable to recognized and accessible roads only and is not always a quick solution should you get stuck. Therefore, avoid mud, wet grass, deep snow, etc. Getting the vehicle stuck due to non-mechanical issue is your responsibility.
• You will likely be exploring areas new to you, so please stay attentive at the wheel and do not rush your travel. We expect you to adhere to all state and local traffic laws.
• You are free to travel anywhere in the continental US or Canada. Mexico is strictly prohibited. Outdoorsy will not insure outside of US/Canada. Please give us an overview of your trip when picking up the vehicle.
• All tolls are your expense and must be paid AT THE TIME OF TRAVEL. Any tolls or traffic violations will be your responsibility.
• Additional fees may be incurred if the vehicle is not returned in the same condition as the pickup. This includes filling the gas tank and dumping grey and toilet cassette. Most trucking stops and many CO state parks and campgrounds offer services to dump. If you won't have time (or don't want to handle) dumping and/or pumping, be sure to add on these services when you check out.
• You are expected to treat the vehicle respectfully.
--- No climbing or storing materials of any kind on the roof (there are solar panels)
--- No parties or tailgating
--- No taking the campervan to Burning Man or anything like that
--- No smoking, vaping, or drugs of any kind (others are allergic to smoke)
--- No pets of any kind - we love dogs but we're allergic :(
--- No perfumes or heavy scents (including air fresheners, diffusers, fish smells, curries etc) (ya just can't get those smells out and some cause allergies)
OWNER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Costs or inconveniences incurred by the renter's travel interruptions.
• Loss, damage, or injury to people or property from any vehicle or equipment rented from owner
• Owner reserves the right to cancel reservations for reasons including severe weather conditions (who wants frozen pipes), renter condition/behavior at the time of pick up, etc.
MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL!
Take lots of pictures, listen to your music a little louder than usual, make sure the drinks stay cold, laugh, then laugh some more, and create memories that will last a lifetime!

This van had everything we needed for a week of exploring. We don't camp normally, but this van made it possible to enjoy nature with a few extra amenities 😉

Trisha and Jason are amazing hosts! They were incredibly informative and helpful, willing to field any and all questions about the rig. It is just so lovely that they are willing to share and host their brand new Camper Van! I drove around Colorado for a few days and had a blast in this little Solis, visiting Campgrounds and Hipcamp spots. It was easy to drive and maneuver, plus all of the mirrors/cameras made it easy to parallel park. The van comes well stocked and the outdoor shower was a treat. It was super convenient to sleep in the van (with black out shades) and not have to set up a tent every night.

Trish’s answer

Janet, you were a wonderful steward of our fun rig - We're so happy you had a blast & we'd love to rent Great AdVANture for your next weekend getaway!

The two of us had a fabulous time renting the Great AdVANture for 2.5 wks to go explore Wyoming & Montana. Trish & Jake are kind and great to work with. It’s a treat to enjoy a van that’s pretty close to brand new & it didn’t take long before it was very comfortable to drive. Finding places to park was easy. I loved the view out the windshield, for both national park wildlife sightings and safety (which the two rear view cameras really assist with as well). Swiveling the front seats when at the campground (or taking a break from the rain) is such a convenient way to transition from “cab time” to “house time.” The van is well stocked with necessities & thoughtful touches, but there’s still plenty of room for storage. We’re grateful for how this van helped us have an amazing trip!

Trish’s answer

I'm so glad you enjoyed your fabulous trip in Great AdVANture Kristi! We'd love to rent the van to you again for your next trip!

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We can usually accommodate most pick up and drop off times. Just ask us :-)

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
We will do a thorough "walk-thru" and brief driving practice to help you get to know how things work. In addition, we have a digital and paper manual that even has detailed photos - just in case you need it! So far, though, everything has been going smoothly! With a campervan as new as this, it's in great shape for you!

Q.How do the electric, water and sewage hook up work while setting up at the campground?
A.
Electric is just plug in. Super easy. Getting water is also very simple. The "sewage" is just a cassette that you can easily dump in any toilet, including vault toilets and port-a-pottys. Easy peasy!

Q.I'm coming from out of town. What's included?
A.
Pretty much everything except your personal items and toiletries and food/beverage. We have a bike rack, folding chairs, table, all cooking utensils, linens including a down comforter and towels. Aluminum foil, trash bags, cleaning spray, salt/pepper, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc. Come enjoy our beautiful state in comfort and convenience!
