RecommendationsWinter in the PNW provides you with an opportunity for seclusion in some of the best scenery in the country. The Olympic rain forest is in full form with fall rains; Have the amazing Shi Shi beach all to yourself ! enjoy winter storms from the warmth of your van in La Push and Second Beach. These are the wildest beaches in the US, and stretch from Tatoosh, through Oregon, and into Northern California. Beach combing after a winter storm is sure to yield treasures.Venture inland to Mt. St Helens, and see herds of Elk along the roadMaybe the San Juan Islands are calling: Winter brings relief from the usual summer crowds, and the locals are longing for your interaction. Ferries are free of lines, and getting between the islands is easy.Just north of us is the Canadian border! Vancouver is a world class city, known for its culture and food. Many film makers have flocked to Vancouver, and while I can't promise you'll find celebrities and fame, you'll certainly discover why this coastal city is so warm and welcoming. Just north is Whistler (not just a winter destination! Summers in Whistler are amazing), and a short ferry ride to the west will land you on Vancouver Island, with one of the last major English outposts in picturesque Victoria. Some quick highlights:• Three national parks within a few hours drive time (Mt Rainier, North Cascades, Olympics), as well as thousands of hiking trails and climbing areas. Not into hiking or climbing? Visit picturesque Leavenworth, or explore the San Juan islands! Or do what we do and just enjoy time together in a cozy space away from the bustle of the city!Other things to noteContact the owner for videos on the heating and water systems. Manual included in van. No smoking of any kind. Small pets ok.Please treat our van kindly so we can continue to share the joys of van life with others!

Hello! Thank you for looking at our van! We're local working parents here in Bothell, who have enjoyed off grid life for a number of years. We started with a recreational camping property in a remote area when our kids were very little, and have found that adventure to be incredibly fulfilling for our family. Camp fires, smores, hikes, fishing, and being a part of that community has changed ours and our kids views on life, and what's important. We bought the conversion van to extend that experience as much as we can to others that enjoy these things as much as we do. RV/Van life was never in our plans, but once we tried it, we were hooked. Life in a space under 300 sqft is so much more enjoyable than life in 3600 sqft house!

The van was so beautiful and clean. Everything worked great. It was easy to maneuver. Plenty of storage for food and gear. The manual made it very clear how to operate all systems. Emptying the grey/dirty water was pretty simple as was filling the fresh water tank. Barry was an excellent host. Very friendly. Helpful with information about the area and very responsive to questions. I would definitely rent the van again.

We had a terrific experience from pick up to drop off. Barry was an excellent host! Friendly and very communicative. He offered us some great ideas on places to check out and other helpful tips. Jade the Van was awesome. Handled great on the streets as well as some light gravel roads and driving up some steep hills. It was a luxury to be able to take hot showers everyday, the heating system kept things cozy and we slept comfortably and slept well on the queen sized bed. The kitchen set up is complete, smartly designed and easy to use and clean up was easy as well with the sink in the back. We had an amazing time discovering the National Parks of Washington thanks to Barry and Jade. Looking forward to coming back to visit Mt Rainier.

Have a question?Get answers directly from the host

Q.Are pets allowed?
A.
Small furry friends are welcome! Larger dogs may be a bit cramped.

Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We like to hand over the keys personally, so we can help familiarize you with van's systems and offer any tips and tricks (as well as travel ideas!). However, we both work so we can also have a touchless check in if needed.

Q.How big is the refridgerator?
A.
The refrigerator in Jade is a 30 liter drawer fridge (dimensions roughly 13"W x 18"D x 5"H), typically seen in yachts or watercrafts.

Q.Does the van have A/C?
A.
The van has a multidirectional ceiling fan above the bed which can push out warmer air or pull in cooler air to help keep the cabin cool but does not have a separate AC unit in the cabin. However, the main engine has A/C, just like your car.
